Default Isn't this a childish way for not speaking to anyone?

There is this security guard in the building I work in. We always talk sports when I past him in our lobby. Two months ago, we had a heated argument and we didn't talk for two weeks. He said I called him two-faced. Anyway, I was man enough to bury the hatchet and squash the beef because he is the type you can't stay mad at. We resumed talking. So about two days ago, he brought up the squabble we had from two months ago. He said he thought about it. I told him I thought we squashed it. He said we did, but because it came to mind, it pissed him off. I told him if he was going to bring up something we squashed two months ago, and is still pissed, then he has issues. So now, we aren't talking. I guess he was looking for a reason to not talk to me. Oh well, I ain't losing no sleep over that, and I am not going to bury the hatchet this time.

GarfieldKool don't even trip on that. People are gonna be ignorant and there's no way you can change people that have a mentality like that. That security guard does have issues if he's still mad at you about a disagreement ya'll had months ago. If he said he got over the disagreement, why is he bringing it up then? That's ignorant. GarfieldKool that's why i'm glad i don't have any friends because it's hard to be friends with people because people are nosey and you can't trust them. I got one friend in Cleveland and sometimes i think about not being friends with him anymore because last time i talked to him, we got in a argument about the rappers he listens to that i don't like and the rappers i listen to that he doesn't like. Then when he's ridden in the car with me several times, i always have to turn down the music because he's trying to talk to me while the music is playing. I told him to stop doing that and he continues to do that. That irritates me. So i'd just rather not have any friends.

This guard ain't got nothing better to do, and you what, he IS two-faced, because he talks about everybody in the building behind their backs, and smile in your face.....including me.

It sounds like no big loss to you if you two aren't talking....maybe just keep it to hi and goodbye. I don't like the sounds of this guy, lol.

Seems like it is no big loss. If anything, he has lost someone who gave him the time of day by even conversing with him. A lot of people ignore security people as it is. He will have some boring ass days now.

Unless the heated arguement got extremely personal I think this guy has some issues. If you guys blew it off and now it has come up again I would just keep it cordial (always be nice just in case the guy goes "postal") and keep your distance.

We were jokingly arguing over each other's teams. He then got hyped up and he turned red in the face, and I told him to calm down. He said that my team sucked (They do) and he called me out in front of two people. I just told him to stop showing off in front of those people and that he usually doesn't talk like that when it's me and him. That's when he got the impression I called him two-faced.

He definately has issues, especially if all of this is over a sports arguement. I had a friend runb it in so badly when my team lost a chapionship in game seven of a final series. I wanted to choke (no really I did want to ) him at the time but after a few days of wallowing in my teams misery I could handle the ribbing. That is the nature of sports and friends.

The fact that you apolgised to him and he forgot about it, now wants to relive the arguement .... better off without him

For guys, sports and politics can tear you apart. No sweat though, it is his loss.
