Can We Get The Newest Messages In A Topic to Come Up At The Top?

Is there a way to get the newest messages under each topic to come up at the top instead of the bottom? If not could they be set up that way? It would sure save me from having to scroll past stuff I have already read before & make it much faster. Thanks for any info! This is a cool site & the CHICO & THE MAN message boards are my homeon here! Ya'll have done a great job here!

I'm not sure about that. it would make it confusing for newcomers to the topics, cause they couldent read the posts in order. But I suppose it could work out, depending on how its done.

That feature is not available in this forum software that I'm using now, but I will be switching to vBulletin as soon as I can get it to import the posts and member files properly. There are loads of new features in it such as jumping to the last post in a thread, subscribed threads, and lots more - all customizable by the user. Thanks for your nice comments!

Thanks for the info! I was wondering about that, cuz on my friend Arlo's message boards which are similar to these & are UBB boards have where the newest messages come up on the top but you can set it up for the oldest messages to come up on the top if you like.

Sounds like the new message board system will be great!

Perhaps in the next few weeks, I plan on moving the boards to another server soon and will test vBulletin then and then maybe switch to that...
