Default The main message this show seemed to give off was that it's someone for everybody no

matter how different you are, whether you are overweight, slow, nerdy, or Ugly-LOl

Eddie was Ugly but still had girlfriends

Waldo was SLOW but still had Maxine

Urkel was a NERD but still was wanted by Myra

Carl was OVERWEIGHT but Harriet still loved him

LOL, so it try to let everyone know watching the show that THERE IS HOPE for you no matter how different you are

I noticed that too back in the day on how these ugly folks pulled these fine women. I would leave out Carl and Hariette because Harriet was not exactly the catch of the day herself.

Oh come on! Eddy is NOT ugly! Neither is Harriette. And I always thought Waldo and Maxine was a great couple.

But you don't see Waldo or Steve having that many girls to choose from, even though it's a TV show. Waldo only has Maxine. Steve has Myra, that bug collector girl and eventually (yuck) Laura. But Eddy has one photo model type girlfriend after another. And that's because he's NOT ugly, but the kind of guy, that such girls would like. Eddy is not my type. Steve is my type. But still, I think Eddy looks better than Steve.

Eddie wasn't ugly, he wasn't my type but he wasn't ugly. Also just because you're nerd doesn't mean that someone isn't attracted to you LOL. Waldo was slow I don't know what Maxine saw in him, other than he was sweet. Carl being fat has nothing to do with Harriett loving him, a persons weight shouldn't matter. There are a lot of cute overweight men.

Like my aunt told me the other day, When you get to a certain age, looks doesn't matter. It's all about how you're treated by the other person, and if they have a job
