Default WORST couple in sitcom history??

My vote goes to Caroline and whoever that guy was that she was with last on the Caroline and the City (Anthony Tyler Quinn). The plug was then pulled on the show with no resolution and sank into oblivion.

I know I'm going to catch flak for this...but I never cared for Ross and Rachel. I think they were WAY overrated. Sure they were cute at first but then came the endless fighting, breaking up then making up then breaking up, etc. etc. etc. Chandler and Monica were a WAY more interesting, romantic couple.

Just my opinion...what's yours?

Ross and Rachel Friends by far the worst couple ever. No chemistry, and just unbelievable pairing. Nothing in common and Rachel would never go for someone like Ross in a million years.

Mr. & Mrs. Roper on Threes Company seemed like a pretty bad couple, they
argued all the time. She was spunky and he was kind of a grouch.

Samantha and Darrin #2. They may have been great friends offscreen but onscreen they had no chemistry whatsoever.

I agree! I didn't put them in my original post partly b/c I'm so biased toward Samantha and Darrin #1. From everything I've read, Dick Sargent was a very nice man and he was a good actor in his own right, but he was not Darrin Stephens. Dick York was and always will be THE definitive Darrin.

I agree with this completely. I'm not anti-Sargent at all; in fact, I think he was an excellent actor and I enjoyed seeing him in other roles. But I'm with you: Darrin Stephens = Dick York.

Besides Claire and Cliff Huxtable, the ones I think don't have any chemistry, are boring, or are stupid matches:

Mork & Mindy
Jesse & Becky (Full House)
Nancy & Dale (King of the Hill)
Jenny & Lionel #2 (Jeffersons)
The parents on Drake & Josh

I agree. I think Chandler and Monica are a much better couple than Ross and Rachel. Ross gets on my nerves.

I agree. I never really liked Dick Sargent I always thought that Dick York was the best Darrin. That is why I like the early episodes better.
