I have a couple of musings:
Why did the UM episodes on Lifetime have that bizarre white bars opening, instead of the UM logo flying at you like in the old NBC episodes? Anyone have any idea why Lifetime changed the beginning slightly like that? Also, ever notice that Robert Stack is more animated in the earlier episodes, and by animated, I mean he uses his one hand to make an inquisitive gesture. In the later episodes, his hands practically "died", except for sticking his hand in his pocket. The producers must have decided for him to not do anything and just stand there because it's scarier if he exhibits a more lifeless manner. |

^ That "different person" also does the voice overs for the ads that run on "Lifetime" as well as ads on "Court TV".

I hate how they changed the theme song in the later episodes. I love that spooky theme songs from the earlier seasons.

I'm actually kind of partial to the CBS flute theme myself.
