Sad Scariest Episode

When Webster first moved into that Victorian house and there was that life sized mannequin in the rocking chair with the long blonde human hair in the sealed off room that was supposed to represent the daughter of the owners who ran away. I mean, would you rent a house from people like this ? That scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.

I agree. I can remember the day I first saw that episode and how it freaked me out for the longest time afterward. Of course I was only like 7 at the time it aired.

The episode is called Moving On:

George and Katherine are excited about purchasing their new home until Webster discovers a secret room behind a trick wall.

The one where Webster is at home alone then two kids with ski masks on come in and touture him.

Also the one where Webster and his friend are idolizing this basketball player who is a drug addict. They show him in the kitchen smoking something, (crack I think.) The guy dies at the end of the episode.

I personally thought "That uh-oh feeling" about Child Molestation was the scariest one of all time, I had problems sleeping after seeing it when I was really little, it was just really creepy.

I thought the "scariest" episode was the one where Webster leaned against something and fell into a trap wall. Inside, there were no doorknobs and nobody knew where he was. It was also in fact a very good clip show.

Question

What exactly happened in the Uh-Oh episode? I've heard it's about a substitute teacher that was a child molester & that it's really weird, but I never did see that one. Does anyone remember what all happened in this one?

I remember what happened. Webster's friend had to stay after class. When he realized that he had to go back for something in the classroom, he could overhear his friend being molested and talking about feeling uncomfortable. After Webster heard about this, he called for help and the authorities had to get involved.

I am the editor for Webster at www.tvtome.com, so you might want to check the synopsis guide. But actually this pretty much covers it.

Holy Toledo. This show was full of episodes that gave me tramas. I am flashing on most of the ones you all have mentioned. What was with some of these 80's sitcoms and their "very special" episodes? (If you don't know what I mean by "very special," check out jumptheshark.com.) Why did they want to scare us? We weren't learning anything. We were just creeped. At least I was. That Uh oh episode was done on Diff'rent Strokes AND Mr. Belvedere!

I think the scariest episode was Burn Out the fire episode. When i was 10 i saw the episode and had nightmares about it for months.

Haaa! When I read this topic, that is the episode that I thought of and I then read your post and find out that we were thinking of the same episode. Too Cool! I wonder if you are even still active since you posted this message eight years ago. LOL.

The ones that come to mind are:

the S3 ep. where they were on the ranch. Well actually the real-life trauma surrounding this ep. is what really freaked me out. Emmanuel Lewis almost nearly had his head kicked off by the horse during the taping of this ep.

The early eps. of the Victorian House where Webster sees a mannequin in the chair w/ blonde hair.

The S4 premiere ep. where many classmates, including Webster got bullied.

The "Uh-Oh" feeling ep. where Webster saw one of his friends get molested by the teacher.

The infamous apartment fire from near mid-way S2.
