I don't think that's the reason at all. I think Jones had better name a coach pretty soon for the good of the team, and Singletary would do a good job.

I actually think Singletary is the best name to come out of his interviews. Norv Turner and Wade Phillips haven't done much as head coaches themselves and Singletary might be able to help that defense which was the real reason for the team's collapse. I agree though I don't think it's real because I think Turner is going to be the coach.

Mike was a great Defensive player. It'll be interesting to see him as a head coach. I wanna see If he make the cowboys a #1 ranked defense.

I agree, it is just done for formality but it helped Pittsburgh's new coach Mike Tomlin. Whether or not it was a good hiring remains to be seen.

I think it is a stupid rule because teams should hire who they want. It is silly to have a team forced to interview a coaching candidate just because they are black.
