Default List 2 Shows from the 1970's that should have been longer?

1978-Baby I'm Back-This was a funny a$$ show that should have ran until the 80's, It starred Demond Wilson from sanford and son and Kim fields and it was just so entertaining, especially the interactions between The Father and Grandmother. It's a shame it only lasted 13 eps

1976-CPO sharkey-Very funny sitcom based on a navy in sandiego starring don rickles and he would make some faces in this show before every commercial break that was just laugh out loud funny. I wish this show would have ran to the 80's too. Lot of blacks were offended because of the way Rickles character make fun of black people but it was all in good fun.

Hello Maude lasted six seasons and Sanford and Son lasted 7 seasons. Both those shows you can see the staleness in their respective final season.

The shows that should had lasted:
The New Dick Van Dyke Show - The Arizona episodes was better than the Hollywood ones. If they did not tried to duplicate The Dick Van Dyke Show the show would had a better chance.

Nanny and the Professor - Cute and entertaining show.

Room 222 - Very intreging show for its time.

Bridget Loves Bernie - That was a good show but too bad the network caved in to the groups that protest the show. It was #5 in the ratings when it was cancelled. I liked the on screen chemistry between David Birney and Meredith Baxter.

Just wanted to let you know not to take any of the posts by Wezzyfan seriously. The Screen name should be reason enough since it's supposed to be WeezyFan instead of WezzyFan

Oops, sorry bout that. These three were my favorites at the time.

Holmes and YoYo-Comedy about a cop and his robot partner, it was funny and the characters were likeable.

The Nightstalker-Anthology horror, way ahead of it's time scary without the gore and special effects.

Fish-Great spinoff of Barney Miller, starring a retired Phil Fish.

But Baby I'm Back couldn't have gone well into the eighties or we wouldn't have a Tootie or a Pearl Shay.
