That's waaaaaay too much... But then you live in NYC, so I think that's on par. *shrug*
I know one of the local tax companies around here will do your taxes for $90 (I'm in North Dakota). |

We paid H&R Block $300 last year, and it really bothered me. I need to find someone who wants to make a quick $100. I don't work, and my husband is semi-retired. Our taxes are not complicated.

I bought TurboTax. It cost me about $60 all together. I was paying the H & R Block $165.

Nothing. I usually get my taxes done at VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assitance) at my college/job.

Is that how much TurboTax cost? I was thinking of buying the software but if it cost that much, I think I might have a friend do my taxes for free. |

So, there's really no need for me to hold on to credit card statements, my Blue Cross and Medicare records, etc. (But I do anyway; just in case. Like; I ran into a problem with my Blue Cross a couple years ago and had to look up my statments) |
