Odd Couple 1993 TV Movie
Is this rare? I have an original televised recording of it. I don't want to throw it out. Anyone want it?

I have a copy from the first airing too. It isn't that rare, but I would still hold onto it. You would be sorry if you gave it away and wanted to watch it again

Of the sitcom reunions I've seen that was the only one I enjoyed. I did feel that it came about mainly to help Jack Klugman go back to work after his throat surgery (at least it seemed that way, I also remember a funny potato chip commercial he and Tony did around that time where Tony did all the talking about messy chips and Jack just tossed them around with a frown).
I did enjoy it though. Penny Marshall also made a game reappearance as Myrna. Still, I never count reunions as part of any show. To me the last line of TOC is "I knew he wouldn't pick it up!" LOL! |

This movie should be avoided at all costs. It's depressing. They incorporated Jack Klugman's real-life throat cancer into the plot and it all it did was remind you that they got older and sicker.
And they didn't even have Al Molinaro as Murray -- some other actor played him. Murray without that nose?? Just a depressing piece of garbage. Stick with the original series and leave it at that. |
