The Golden Girls - HELP - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Hi, I wonder if anyone out there would be able to help me out with something. I live in Glasgow, Scotland, which falls into the DVD category "Region 2". I know that the first 6 series of the Golden Girls has been released on DVD (Think the 7th is nearly ready for release). My wife absolutely loves the Golden Girls, so I bought her the first 3 series on DVD (region 2). Can anyone tell me where I can get the region 2 version of the remaining 4 series, or if they have actually been released. I would like to get these for her birthday, but I cannot find them for sale anywhere. Any information that anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately they will not be released in the UK due to poor sales. The dvds from seasons 4 to 7 will only be released in America and Canada (Region 1). Sorry.

ok, thanks for letting me know. At least I know now for sure that I cannot get these DVD's and I can stop searching. I wil break the bad news to the wife

Maybe she will relent and let me buy a new, region free DVD player. maybe this cloud has a silver lining
