Cool

So, so many contenders!
My all-time hate is 'Birds Of A Feather'.

I really disliked "Waiting For God", about those elderly people living in a convalescent home. Didn't find it funny at all. I'm not very fond of "As Time Goes By", even though I like Dame Judy Dench a great deal.

"Keeping Up Appearances". I don't find "Mrs. Boo-kay" funny, just annoying. I wish someone would just slap her silly.

I wish someone would slap her silly too, but I love the show!!! I'd like to see Richard get ghetto on her, just once!

In response to SITCOMWRITER
Barabra is one of the worst unfunny programmes of all time up their with most of the american crap like FAMILY TIES and other ones i have made sure i cant remember.
I beleive you only said that to provoke a response. I was actually picked off the street to view the pilot episode of barbra and mark it out of 20 for various categories. Me and my friend both gave it 0/20 for everything, it didnt even have any fit birds to wa...tch at that other crap programmes have so u dont mind how bad the jokes are (BABES IN THE WOOD being the prime example).

Red Dwarf, Fawlty Towers, Bottom, Young Ones, Father Ted, all of the are sheer utter class.

Be on the look out for my spoof program of Late Night Poker i have just filmed called EARLY AFTERNOON POKER, onyl watch if you are a poker fan as you will not get most of the jokes.

You obviosly don't know where you're at, buddy boy. This place is 99.9% deciated to AMERICAN sitcoms. So if you are gonna come here to rag about american sitcoms, don't come here at all because you are not gonna be liked. And another thing, all american sitcoms (except for the 90s crap sitcomwriter likes) are way superior to British sitcoms. "Are You Being Served?" ran for 13 years, but only had 69 episodes. I wonder how many episodes the longest running Britcom had. "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet," America's longest running sitcom, had over 400 episodes. Shewt, one show that lasted 8 years had 275 episodes....

Oh dear, not another Yanks vs Limeys debate. There really is no merit in this at all.

Look, BOTH the US and Britain have produced their fair share of crap over the years.

JT, a sweeping statement like "ALL american sitcoms are way superior to British sitcoms" is a bit jingoistic isn't it?

Yes, this forum IS 99.9% dedicated to American sitcoms but this IS the Britcom section, if you hadn't noticed.

Did you see that they want to turn Coupling into an American sitcom to replace Friends? That can never work.
