I just didn’t know what thread it should be put in, so I decided to start new thread …
May be you will laugh at me guys because for you it was already so long ago, but I live in Moscow (Russia) and The Division here was in air only during Spring 2006 (it was that short ‘cause some our channel aired this show every single night including Saturdays and Sundays and I ran into it absolutely occasionally). I BEG YOUR PARDON IN ADVANCE FOR SUCH A VIOLENT ENGLISH (I’m not fluent at that) but I just needed to share that with anyone. It was couple months ago when I found this message board about The Division and I ran into this message board absolutely occasionally as well (as into this show itself). Of course, all of them (The Division screw I mean) were absolutely great but I was completely hooked up with CD and Nate chemistry at first sight and I was sitting here just reading all these good words about them two that all of you guys wrote so many years ago!!! They were such amazing couple, it doesn’t happened very often when actors have such a perfect chemistry as Tracey Needham and Jon Hamm had and Lifetime (or producers or whoever it was I don’t know) made a big mistake when they threw it away, didn’t they?

Honestly I wanna say that I’ve never seen such incredible beautiful couple as CD and Nate (even between very famous actors, you’ll my be say Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt or whoever, come on! They even can’t come close to CD and Nate), I just admired them two very much all the time, they absolutely belonged together. As much as many of you guys who wrote here I also just wanted to hug the TV whenever I saw them together, OMG may be it sounds sooo stupid but yet it was so!!! I remember how happy all of you were when they finally kissed (it happened July 13, 2003 if memory serves me right and it was the most beautiful and magical kiss I’ve ever seen) and I could go on and on forever about how great they were remembering every single moment of them being together.



And I was absolutely disappointed with that how it was it ended up (I mean CD/Nate storyline).
And as I understood from this message board, nobody of you guys knew and still doesn’t know and I guess nobody will ever know why this storyline was just screwed up in that horrible way. And I also found all these amazing fanfiction stories about CD and Nate’s love, thank all of you who wrote them very much.

WAS THERE REALLY ANYONE WHO WASN'T A CD AND NATE FAN?

First of all I refer to all of you CD and Nate fans, as I got from this message board you guys were waiting for 2 years, watching every look, every comment, every move for them to get together (Lifetime aired this show only once a week and now would you believe that here in Russia The Division was fitted on four months only ‘cause our channel showed this show every single day including Saturdays and Sundays, lol). So was I, ‘cause they deserved to be happy as nobody else… And yes it was so unfair to the actors who played these characters CD and Nate as well. They put way too much effort into this to have it ended this way. And it was so unfair to Tracey, to give her character that horrible send off. That was not the CD that Tracey performed to perfection.

Yes I should say that Lifetime turned to be very “talented” (in extremely bad sense) to have managed to dump such a beautiful relationship (or may be yet Tracey Needham just wanted to leave herself on some private reasons or may be she just didn’t get along with her co-workers on set or may be even she just didn’t get along with her closest co-worker Jon Hamm, although it’s hard to believe this – it's so obvious that Jon and Tracey seemed to work so well together).

Oh I’m so sorry it was such a loooong and boring speech (regarding my bad English) but it was extremely necessity for me to say how much I fell in love with CD and Nate and to share this with someone, just tell me is there some of CD and Nate fans still (after almost four years???)

Definitely. They were such a great couple and it was so riducilous how they ended their relationship on the show. So sad, Nate was so depressed.

I live in Romania, the show i still airing, but I stoped watching because of CD being killed.Still a big fan...

Hi, Ana, by the way, it’s great to meet CD and Nate’s fan not only in the United States, but in Europe.

Honestly, I had still been watching the show even after CD has gone, but it had been kind of struggle for me to watch (I just don’t know why did I do that, he-he), to see Nate without her made me feel so sad, I’d had been missing their friendly banter and humor so much all through the season 4, all their partnership/friendship/love thing …

And just for the record, Ana, to be correct, CD wasn’t killed but they made it look even worse than if she really was killed (even though I hate to say that thing), as if she left him without having said a word, not wanting to be reminding of her past which meant him. In other words, they just made her look like kind of bitch.
CD that we all loved over the three seasons would never do that to him. It's really not like CD just to leave a note.

You just read my mind, Ana, I thought exactly the same thing, cuz if she wouldn’t have survive (although I hate say it again!) it would have been bittersweet tragedy instead of pure bitterness about beautiful relationship having been dumped.
But my guess is that everything is very clear here: owners of the show just wanted the viewers to lose their respect for CD and therefore regret her less…

Yes, I’m pretty sure it was at least the one of the reason why the show went downhill since that moment.

I mean I don’t wanna offend here those who still enjoyed the fourth season of the show cuz I know a lot of people watched it because of Jinny or Kate and they were also really great, but for me whose favorite part was CD/Nate stuff the show lost its fascination since beginning of fourth season.

I Guess I Was The Only One Who Never Really Cared For Cd. I Saw This Show In The Re-runs, And When I Was Reading All The Prior Posts To Me Watching, I Was Expecting Someting SPECTACULAR. What A Letdown! I Alwasys Thought NATE WAS Way Too Good For Her. MAYBE I JUST DIDN'T GET ENOUGH OF A DEPTH FROM HER CHARACTER, SO I COULDN'T GET HER ATTITUDE.

Course, Jinny. Now She Was Really Messed Up, But I Could Always Find Empathy For Her. I WAS ALWAYS PULLING FOR HER TO GET HERSELF TOGETHER AND BE THE WOMAN SHE COULD BE PROUD OF. i loved cd & nate and was hoping they would finally get to be together at the end.
i hated the way they took cd off the show though. such a disappointment.
