Areanas is not an all star???? Carter would be a superstar if he brought his A game every night. He has all the athlethic ability to take over games but most of the times he just camps out behind the arc. He is an up and down player that only plays well when he wants to. His game went south when he developed a three point shot, he relies on it too much. He would be a more effective player if he slashed to the basket more. But ever since Kurt Thomas knocked him on his a** in the 2000 playoffs he has always been cautious going hard to the basket. He is an overarrated player that gets attention because he does some incridible dunk every now and then.

Areanas on the other hand is having a career year leading the Wizards. He does take a lot of shots but he also takes it to the hole just as often. He will get some MVP votes this year.

I don't want to get started with Yao Ming, he was also having a great year until he got injured. Which is the only reason he maybe does not deserve to be a starter. In that case I would give his spot to Elton Brand even though he is technically a forward.

Shaq hardly deserves to be one. What has he played in, 5 games? Dwight Howard should get the start in the East, and Amare Stoudamire should get the start in the West.

And yes, Arenas is definitely deserving of a start. He's a stud.

Arenas is playing like the MVP!! Yao Ming shoulden't start but I guess he's still an all star type player I voted for Amare over yao. Nash should start instead of T-Mac. Nowitzki should start instead of garnett. And I dont know what the hell shaq is doing as starting center for the east. Don't get me wrong I like shaq but he's played about 5 games! Howard should start!
