Best And Worst of The 1970s and 1980s
What is the best and worst seasons of the 1970s and the best and worst seasons of the 1980s?
Best 1970 Season would be Season tie between season 2 and 3 Worst Seasons of the 1970s would be season 5. best 1980s season is Season 7 and 6 with season 8 close behind. worst season of the 80s would be season 9,10,11 my favorate to least favorate seasons are Season 2 Best season 3 season 1 season 4 season 6 season 7 season 5 season 8 season 9 season 1o season 11 Worst |

I don't understand the question. If this is geared toward the Jeffersons, they debuted January '75 not the 1970 season.

i know they came on in 1975
what i ment was which 1970s season. season 1,2,3,4,5 the 1975-1980 season did you like best? and which Seasons did you not like of the 5 1970s season? and i dont have season 1 at the top because season 2 and 3 made me laugh alot more the season 1 |

Year 1 is the best because George was his most politically incorrect, the original Lionel was on and had significant screentime, Louise was more down to earth and not quite at home in the upper middle class lifestyle . Watching the DVDs for years 2 and 3 recently I have to say that Damon Evans was very mediocre- not that he couldn't act, but Mike Evans set the bar so high as Lionel that I really don't think any other actor in that era could have topped him. Still years 2 and 3 are good entertainment- 3 is more fun in a way because Mother Jefferson is sidelined for most of the season, but 2 is good because Florence could be a bit much at times. Year 4 I'm not too familiar with, year 5 is better than I thought (given that there is no Lionel at all, Jenny makes one token entry and Jay Hammer was the worst regular the show ever had). Year 6 is quite entertaining and so is 7 but 8 is lacking because of the absences of Mike Evans and Paul Benedict and 9 is the very worst season IMO with no classic episodes. The worst shows in the 70s are better than anything in year 9. The last 2 seasons are better as they make the best of what the show was and had become by that time.
