I only have season one. It seems like if you want to watch great tv , you have to buy shows like Taxi on dvd.

I've had the opportunity to rent out the first season's worth of "Taxi" from Netflix, and I loved every minute of it. Now, I'm on the first disc's worth of S2, and I'm 4 episodes in. The funniest so far was "Reverend Jim: A Space Odyssey." The funniest part of that was when Reverend Jim was taking his driving test, and he said to Bobby, "What does a yellow light mean?" Bobby said, "Slow down." Jim, thinking that Bobby meant for him to ask the question more slowly, said, "What...does...a...yellow...light...mean?" Bobby again said, "Slow down." The third time, it got ever slower: "What......does......a.....yellow.....light.....mean?", and on and on. I was doubled over with laughter seeing that scene. You just don't get that kind of quality humor from "Friends" or "Raymond" or "King of Queens." That's why "Taxi" and "Mary Tyler Moore" are my two favorite older comedies.

I have had Seasons One and Two for a while now but I just picked up Season Three this week. I found it while browsing at Half-Price Books on sale for only $19.98, which was a real plus
. Anyway, the first two seasons are fantastic even after all these years. I haven't watched all the episodes of Season Three yet. The episodes in the Third season that I've seen so far are still good but they are not quite as good as they were in one and two. I'll probably watch all the episodes this weekend. Signed, Respectfully, Dutch |

Over here in the UK, they have only released the first season and that was only in April. Hopefully they will release the 2nd and 3rd season here as well.

I always did enjoy Taxi - great writing and ensemble acting.
Glad to hear you are enjoying it, too.
