Default Price is no object?

I really don't buy TV series for myself. I put the shows and seasons I want on Christmas and birthday lists and let me wife and friends actually get them for me.

I imagine the average price for a single season of most shows falls into the $40 to $70 price range.

My question is, what currently unavailable series (or season) would tempt you to part with an exorbitant amount of money? And how much?

For me, of course, it would be Mr. Terrific (1967). If Universal would just PLEASE release the 17 episodes of this series on DVD (or VHS for that matter) I'd gladly shell out $200 (or more, probably) for that single season.

And I'd smile all the while they were taking my money.

For me its only shows i REALLY want that i get on DVD.For instance MASH and 3's Company, must have all those on dvd. Other shows like say Quincy ah growing pains stuff like that, i will tape from tv and get all the episodes even they are syndicated with a few minutes missing,i dont NEED those on dvd,im satisfied with the the ones from tv. I will also pick up Hawaii Five-O on dvd. Other shows that i dont feel the need to get on dvd ,i will buy if its maybe a buy one get 1 free

Only "Benson", since pretty much everything else I want is already on DVD.

First of all, all the series I buy for are no more than $30, and most of them are around the $20-25 price range, which saves a lot of money. But, if a series i really did want was over $40, I would buy it no matter what, because spending $40 for something you are going to watch over and over for the rest of your life is really a bargain.

"Trapper John, M.D."-- I never got into that one as much as I wanted to, so I'd gladly shell out for it. I do, however, have another medical series, "St. Elsewhere", to tide me over until that time.

I'd pay good money for the Edison Twins and Small Wonder - but they'd have to be packaged right - nice box art etc.

I'd spend $200 for The Naked Truth complete series on DVD...I have just 17 episodes on tape, and I'd love to see the rest of them!

I'd be willing to pay extra for shows that have music rights issues like Wonder Years and Malcolm in the Middle, if the original music were intact...

I'd also pay more for an official Complete Series DVD set of It's Your Move, since it's such a rarity, and I'm very interested in seeing it. (if Sony released it, it would probably only be about $29.99, tho...)

Not if it's a show you simply can't find in ANY format, and you're ready to give it up for lost.
