Default Which girl aged the best?

First, let me begin by saying that I am not being catty. I am the same age as Kim Fields, and believe me, my college day looks are llloooonnnngggg gone!

But I was thinking about it. My eight year old daughter LOVES the FOL. Her idol is Nancy McKeon and the character of Jo. But when I showed my daughter pics of what they look like now, she said that LW, KF and MC look pretty much the same, only older. But she said that NM looks like a completely different person. And you can kind of see it. Especially in the mouth. Her lips and mouth look completely different than they did in FOL or in any of those TV movies she was in (which were shot when she was in her 20's, even late 20's). Also, her overall face is quite different now. It's more oblong or someting. I am comparing shots of her at 25 with shots at 40 and my daughter is right. She DOES look completely different. Plastic surgery? She certainly didn't need it. She and the others are all quite beautiful in their own way.

Opinions?

I agree that Nancy looks different. I have noticed that everytime I watch one of her tv movies or tv shows, she really looks different in all of them. I think NM looks amazing, great and beautiful. She has a certain look that is very versatile and appealing. I think that is why she has been in the biz most of her life.
I also think her face changes if she puts on a little weight. I noticed in the movie Comfort and Joy she was pregnant and she looks very different then when she did Wild Hearts 2 years later.

I wonder if anyone could post pics of Nancy over the years, but I agree 100%she tends to look very different in moves, tv show and even interviews.

Nancy, COME BACK TO TV SOON!!!!

I noticed the difference in Nancy from the Division to Wild hearts. And she is like a totally different looking person since TFOL. She is a lot prettier now then she was on TFOL I think.

I think that both Nancy and Lisa still look beautiful. I think that Nancy looks even better now then she did when she was younger. And Lisa still has a smile that can melt my heart anyday.

yeah, I think they all "aged-well". I think the MC really does look old, though. I know she's not, but her age kinda shows. She still looks fine though.

wow, interesting question! I think Nancy looks the best, she's changed the most too! if you look closely at FOL thru season 4-9, you'l see the changes in NM's face, particularly the nose and lips. I don't thin any surgey was involved. Lisa looks great too. Kim and MC have changed a lot! Maybe a bit too much, but they all look healthy! Which is more than can be said for Meg Ryan and Nicole Kidman, sorry.

Yeah I noticed Nancy looks totally different than she did in her Facts years. That is to be expected, she went through puberty, which can explain her face shape changing a bit. I'd also like to note that Nancy's skin color was noticeably darker in her younger years. Anyone notice that? The things that are definitely the same are her beautiful eyes and smile. Those are definitely her trademarks. Also Lisa Whelchel is still as beautiful as ever. I just think she should grow her hair out and keep it a bit longer with layers, her hair is definitely her crowning glory. To me, Lisa is a classic beauty. She looks a bit younger than 43 and has aged gracefully. Alot of actresses in Hollywood her age are feeling the pressure to look young and keep up with the 20-somethings. Lisa doesn't need any plastic surgery at all to keep her young, she's gorgeous. As for Kim and Mindy, they look fine. Mindy, I have to say looks sort of old, IMO but I still think she's great.

They have all aged pretty well. Lisa and Kim look exactly the same. Nancy's looks have probably changed the most, but I don't think it's the result of any cosmetic work. I think it's more a result of puberty, weight changes and hair color changes.

Actually, I've been looking at the two close-ups. Both her chin and her jawline are quite different now than they were when she was young. Significantly different. I remember from grad school that the mandible bone (jawline) is relatively permanent. Many of the other bones have what are called growth plates. Those bones DO change as a person grows out of maturity. Also, notice the nose. In the later picture, the tip of her nose is tipped up and thinned and the nostrils more noticeable. I'm no expert, but I do think she's had plastic surgery. Her cheekbone area is also different. Whatever. I honestly think the changes have not been for the better.

Oh and lastly, compare pictures of Nancy when she was 23 in the "Tracey Thurman" story to pictures today. A person's face is fully matured long before that age. Compare the features. Two different people.
