Default Louise Hairstyles

what your favorate Louise Hairstyle?
mine is any hairsyle after season 1. she did look more Beautiful after she lost the bun hairstyle and started wearing nicer and fancier clothes. i cant picture louise wearing the clothes with her bun in the later years. i dont know if it just me or if you feel same but it seem like personalites change after she didnt have her Bun Hairstyle anymore.

Yeah I liked her w/o the bun a lot better too...I think she looked her best in season five. That's just my personal opinion.

I don't mind the bun- at least we get to see her real hair, some of those wigs were too obvious and distracting. It seems that some of the wigs were deliberatley large to draw attention away from her size. Also in the bun episodes (the first 9 of year 1) she does style her hair a bit differently on occassion- when they had the cocktail party in Piano Man and when Mike Marino the reporter came over she fixed her hair up a bit more than usual so it didn't look so bad. Some of her wigs from year 4 and from the last season were the most natural that her hair looked after the first season.

On a side note in the two falshback shows when she wore her bun hairdo (First Store and CHange of a Dollar) it is obvious that Isabel was older than her character.

I think the BUN haitstyle disappeared because of the criticism from Black Groups and Black viewers saying she looked like an Old South Mammy

I sure liked it a lot better when she didn't have that stupid bun in her hair.

We only saw the bun because it was her "All in the family" hairstyle. If you notice she gets rid of it after the first 6 episodes

Louise was always a very pleasant looking woman, but she did look more attractive once she abandoned that bun hair style.

I agree! But in Louise's defense , I wear my hair in a ponytail or a bun a lot of the times! As I get older and also bad weather makes my hair look not at it's best. Hot weather ,rainy weather, doing housework, Etc. I just put it up! I want to hold on to my long hair and not cut it, but to leave it down is a lot of work, that I could deal with when I was younger but it's a pain in the butt now!

LOL!! Kind of like Wilma's hair in my avatar pic, but I'm not a redhead, I'm a blonde!!!
