Gilligan's Island S2 Transfer flaws?

Does anyone else see the green pixels that run rampant thru Gilligan's Island season two episodes? An example is "MEET THE METEOR" At 2:10, 2:30, 3:00 just to name a few, the screen is covered in green pixels. I contacted Warner Bros to see if there was a new press, but they didn't respond, and I have yet to see this mentioned in any reviews or message boards. I have purchased three sets, all having the same transfer issues. Does this occur in anyone else's set?

It's not a transfer flaw, its a press flaw, I thought the pixels were in the image, but when playing on the computer, the pixels were nowhere to be found.

Sorry I did not respond to your post sooner when I saw it last week. After reading the post, I could not respond immediately to it since I was at school but I remembered to check it out later that evening and I did.

I went to Gilligan's Island Season 2 DVD and looked up "Meet the Meteor" (S2 EP #32), the final episode of season 2, I scanned the episode and there were no problems, whatsoever. It was perfect. The problem is that the disc might have defects (scratches, etc.), so you have a defective disc.

I haven't done this yet and some might have done this, what you need to do is take the disc to your local DVD rental store and see if they can undo the scratches from the disc if they're minor (for a fee). If it doesn't work out and you tried to play the disc on all players even on your home computer, you need to send it the whole season 2 package of GI to Warner Home Video including a letter detailing the problem(s) on the disc you have. Don't be afraid to explain in detail, explain what episodes have the problems, the running times the problems occurred, etc., and they will send a replacement disc at no cost.
