This is not an UM story, but rather a developing story in Cambodia which you may have heard of.
On 10 January 2007, A mysterious woman emerged from a jungle in Cambodia. She was naked, looking for food and supposedly acting like a monkey. A man saw the scars on the womans arm and claimed she was his daughter, who went missing when she went herding water buffalos in 1988. In recent days, she took off her clothes and ran back into the jungle, but was caught soon after. She has not spoken a word since her arrival. It is not know whether it is because she can't talk or she is simply choosing not to speak. There is speculation regarding the girl's whereabouts over the supposed last 2 decades, with many people claiming she isn't who many believe she is. The main cause for these speculations is the fact that she had well trimmed hair, and neat fingernails when she arrived. In November 2004, 34 people from 4 hill tribe families emerged from the same dense forest where the girl was supposed to have been. They had fled in 1979 after the fall of the Khmer Rouge regime, which they supported. Other claims include that she is running away from neighbouring Vietnam. The "father" of the girl has stated that he is willing to take a DNA test to prove she is his daughter, however his main concern at the moment is for his "daughter" to receive the proper medical care that she requires. |
