I am curious if anyone here has seen the episode from X-Files ninth (final) season called Sunshine Days about the man who is able to recreate the Brady Bunch house with his mind. I am tempted to buy the final season on DVD just for this episode, but I don't know if it would be worth it.
I am only interested in seeing alternate shots of the house interior that might give more perspective on the layout of the house, much like some of the scenes in Very Brady Christmas gave. |

I've never watched "X-Files", but that sounds like an interesting episode to see. Don't know if you are a member of "Netflix", but Netflix does have that episode available. The "Sunshine Days" episode is on Disk # 5 of season 9. So if you're a Netflix member, you can add that to your queue. I'll probably do just that, but it may be a while by the time we get it. But since it's only one episode, I might move it up our list a bit, just to see that episode and be done with it. If you're not in Netflix, I'd be glad to post screen caps of that episode whenever we finally do get it, but as I said, it may be a while. Perhaps if someone out there has that DVD, they can post some pics of the Brady house as depicted in that episode. |

You can watch the entire episode on You Tube broken into five parts, the quality is pretty high as is the sound. Here are the links...

I saw the "X-Files" episode in question and was at first frightened by it, but then transformed by it, because it was then that I realized that there were many of us out there who were far more into the old show than is probably healthy.
If you can understand that any obsession, no matter how seemingly harmless, is born of some underlying dissatisfaction, then it should remain harmless. In many of our cases, my own included, my Brady obsession was derived as much from being an only child in an unhappy, poor, single-parent household as it was from my being half Latino and dissatisfied with my people's position in society. The Brady's, iow, had it all: they were upper middle class, white, beautiful and untroubled by life's shortcomings. As a 30-something adult who has had therapy (I recommend it for everyone), I can now enjoy the show for the mindless distraction it is and, by so doing, relive a childhood I didn't really have to begin with. |

It was cool. Because I got to see views of the Brady house I've never seen before. Like the cieling of the attic, the window behind the television in the liviingroom and the cieling in the living room. Way cool!
