Does anyone remember the episode when Conrad Bain as Mr. Drummond, Gary Coleman as Arnold, Todd Bridges as Willis, and Dana Plato as Kimberly when they all visited Mrs. Garrett on The Facts Of Life? If Diff'rent Strokes got cancelled in 1979, do you think they would all have joined The Facts Of Life if they were all offered to?

Maybe some of them. I think that would have been a bad move, though.

FOL's concept needed to be more unique and distinctive. Having the others would have bled over into what makes FOL so great.
