Was it really that bad? What happened? I don't want to see it if you hadn't wanted to. I'll just use my imagination. Sorry about your tainted memories.

Oh I'll get over it...FOL isn't ruined for me or anything, it was just a shock at first. It could have been worse, but she called Joan Collins the b-word behind her back, then The Insider played it to Joan, who didn't understand why she said it, considering they'd never met.

It sure wasn't what I was expecting! lol

i think that it was kind of made up, i dunno... somethign about it didn't seem real... it was just really weird. The insider is known for making crap up, so it really wouldn't surprise me

wow, it seems like they just stirred up unecessary drama. and so what if Mrs. Garrett said Joan Collins is a bitch, she probably is! that's no reason to play her the tape back and make fake drama

Sorry if this is a bit rude... but...

It must be a slow news day at "The Insider" when Charlotte Rae's comments can rile a "fued" with her and Joan Collins.

I SAW IT AND IT CRACKED ME UP

I WATCHED THE RERUN OF THE SHOW AS WELL AS TAPED THE SEGMENT.

I DON'T THINK SHE WAS SERIOUS. I THINK SHE WAS QUOTING A LINE FROM WHEN JOAN WAS ON DYNASTY, AND THE LINDA EVANS CHARACTER CALLED HER THAT." NOW, HAD SHE NOT BEEN ATTENDING THE PLAY BOTH JOAN AND LINDA WERE IN, I WOULD HAVE MY DOUBTS. I THINK SHE WAS JUST KIDDING, THOUGH. AND IF NOT, WELL, SHE'S 80 SOMETHING AND STARRED IN "THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES". NOW THAT MAKES ME NOT THINK THE SAME OF CHARLOTTE, BUT SHE WILL ALWAYS BE MY LOVABLE MRS. G

AND TRUTH BE TOLD, IF SHE OR MY GIRLS WERE IN ANY PLAY HERE IN CHI-TOWN, I'D SEE IT. COULD YOU IMAGINE SEEING MRS. G IN "THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES"? I DON'T KNOW IF I'D BE SHOCKED, LAUGHING HYSTERICALLY OR JUST IN AWE SEEING HER

PS: DA BEARS!!! GO BEARS-THE NEXT SUPERBOWL CHAMPS

I assume she was kidding because the the whole thing was taken way out of context. You don't even get to see what led up to her saying that. Chances are it was a slow news day at the Insider, as someone else said. Who cares anyway...I'd take Charlotte Rae over Joan Collins any day.

I don't think she was kidding - more like babbling. She actually claimed how difficult Joan Collins is to work with.

I fear our dear Mrs. Garrett is starting to lose it.

Maybe she was going on what she was told from another person/people who did work with Joan and maybe didn't like her for whatever reason.

I think it's hillarious, it shows Facts of Life viewers that Charlotte Rae is very different from her screen character Mrs. Garrett, some of you have even stated "Mrs. Garrett is getting old, senile, etc...."

Charlotte Rae is no way probably like Mrs. Garrett, which her TV Screen was way to happy all the time.

I think this is good eye-openers for people who think charlotte needs to act like Mrs. Garrett her character.

Did anyone notice how Joan Collins said I don't even know who the old .... how????

Did ET cut off the word Hag at somepoint, I think so.

They both sound pretty bitchy to me.
