Default Something Funny I witnessed involving a Gay Couple and was wondering if it would be

The same if it was a heterosexual couple? I was buying a soda last night in my neighborhood market and the cashier who works in there is gay. He makes it no secret, so while i was in line buying my soda, his boyfriend comes up and askes him-"Are you spending tonight over my house or Am i staying over your house?" The cashier refused to answer HIM in front of me and never did answer him until I guess after I left-lol So I wonder if the gay guy was ashamed of HIM or was he embarassed about being Gay? Only reason I asked this is because if I worked in a market as a cashier and my beautiful girlfriend comes up and says-"So are you staying over my house tonight" in front of a stranger I would have answer with no problem. So what i really want to know is what was THE BIG DEAL???????? It's not like no one knew he was GAY so why did he get all quiet in front of strangers???-lol Another Interesting Moment in my life-lol

I wouldn't have answered either if I was in the same position, as a matter of fact, I just might be pissed she asked me that in front of customers.

I dont really see the big deal with it no matter what your preferences may be. Id probably be taken aback a bit if they asked me, but I wouldve answered nonetheless. Its not like he asked him something more 'sexual'.

Let's deal in reality, I'll answer when I am done with customers. I am sure a boss wouldn't appreciate that kind of talk.

That is waaaay unprofessional. I don't care if he was flipping burgers at McDonald's or working for a sex hotline, the guy's boyfriend could have left their business where it belongs, at home. Don't come to my job with that mess unless the house was on fire.

My man wouldn't say that in front of anyone because it is not professional to have that kind of talk going on at your place of business, whether you are a cashier, clerk, lawyer or doctor.

That is the reason why the guy didn't respond. I bet he told his friend later on that day that what he did was stupid and he should never talk "personal" at work, especially in front of customers.
