Amelia and Ernie in the blizzard

So this morning I saw the episode where Sister Amelia and Deacon Frye get trapped in a blizzard and have to retreat to an old barn. Ernie gets frozen trying to get the sleeping bag from the truck, and Amelia has to get his outer clothes off, put him in the sleeping bag, and get in with him to help warm him up and "bring him back".

Well the next morning Thelma, the reverend, Cassietta, and Rolly find them in the barn, still in the sleeping bag. They're all shocked and want to know what's going on, and Cassietta is particularly angry, really wanting to know what her sister is doing in that sleeping bag with the deacon.

Shouldn't it be obvious? There's a blizzard, their truck is nearby, they're sharing a sleeping bag. The obvious conclusion would be, "Oh, I guess they got stuck in the blizzard and had to keep warm to survive overnight." But no, they act like something is "up", and demand to know answers---especially Cassietta.

It was an alright episode, and interesting to see one of the sisters in a starring role, but that whole attitude of the others (particularly Cassietta) really struck me as odd, silly, and a turn-off.

Anyone would react that way if they saw a MAN and WOMAN in the Same Sleeping Bag-lol I was shocked when I first saw this ep because of the sleeping bag scene-lol
