I would like to change my answer to
Mama's Family. I had forgot about it being a spinoff of The Carol Burnett Show.

What was "Oh Madeline" a spinoff from? I loved that show! I too liked The Facts of Life, Mama's Family and A Different World.

Oh Madeline is sort-of a spin-off. "Pigs In The Middle" was a british series in the early 80's, that aired on England, but made it to syndication here for a while. Up until it was cancelled, the series aired on selected syndicated networks, without any airing of one episode, which features a line about Madeline Wayne, who would be the main character of Oh Madeline in 1983. Many say that it's an american version of it, but because of the mentioning of her, and then the late 70's, early 80's syndication thing, it means that Madeline could of been in the USA, other then England.

And yes, Oh Madeline is sucha funny show. I saw all 19 episode at the Museaum Of TV and Radio and NYC, and only 1 episode was bad!

Mama's Family is also one my favorite spin-offs from the 80's. I can't believe I didn't mention this show in my first post.
