At 3am on 11 May 1988 in Arlington, Virginia, Police arrive at a local schoolyard where the body of a woman has been found. She had been raped and shot once at point blank range.
A day after the murder, Veronica Jefferson's red Camero with its personalised number plates was found parked at a supermarket 2 blocks from her apartment. The car was unlocked with the keys missing. A box cutter was found in the car which led the investigation to people working in the supermarket. A few days later, A policeman revealed he had seen Veronica being dropped off a man who was driving her car. The investigation went quiet until May 1989, when eyewitnesses claim to have seen Jefferson in the supermarket just 2 hours before she was killed. A man said he said hello to Veronica before a man came and attempted to chat her up. A few minutes later, a woman saw Veronica outside the supermarket talking with the same man. According to a poster on YouTube, they found a suspect in 2005. |

Yes he was a guy that was on death row in California for a murder that occured there in 1992. He not only did the Cali murder but he was also linked up by DNA to Jefferson's murder that occured in May of 1988 as well as that of a young couple Rachel and Warren that were also profiled on UM and I believe they were murdered in December of 1988.

I think he may have killed more than that. I find it odd that he may have killed Jefferson in May 1988, the young couple in December 1988, then waited 4 years before killing again in California.

Yes he probably did kill more than what we know about. As far as we know he murdered 4 people but it was probably more than that. His motives appear to be rape and then murder the women to keep them quiet. He sure took a lot of chances though being seen so much in public with Jefferson. With Rachel and Warren I think he was out to do harm that night and it is obvious that he had set his sights on Rachel and Warren was in the way. Because he killed Warren first, and then apperantly Rachel tried to make a run for it through the woods. But yet it is interesting that this guy kidnapped them from downtown DC Which is where Warren and Rachel were last seen at a bar there and I dont know if he forced them right outside the bar to drive to rural Virginia where they were killed or if they gave him a ride voluntarily or what. I would think he would be eligible for federal charges in the case of Warren and Rachel because he went across state lines.
