Default Denver Nuggets trades-"LITLLE EARL" to Milwaukee

Little Earl Boykins was traded to Milwauke for Steve Blake today. I guess it makes sense because they had two point guards under 6ft Tall now they only have one which is ALLEN IVERSON.

Extremely stupid trade. Trade a guy who averages 17/4 for a guy who averages 3 points per game. WTF?

Either way, it is at least 5 times what Steve Blake puts up in one night.

No, they dealt Boykins to free up cap space and avoid luxury taxes.

I like Boykins, he is a scrappy type of player.

I agree with Ricky88. This was a stupid trade. Earl Boykins was a very good player for Denver. He provided a lot of offense off the bench and sometimes he lead the team in scoring especially lately before the trade. Steve Blake is a scrub and Denver will regret this trade. I'm amazed at Earl to be as little as he is and he puts up a lot of points. He's a Cleveland, Ohio native like me and i've followed his career. Cleveland Cavs had him twice and let him go which was stupid as terrible as their bench is. I saw him downtown Cleveland once and he was getting into a Expedition truck. Why would he have a big truck when he's a small man? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha.

As stated, Denver wanted to get rid of his salary, and they did not have to take on much salary in return because the Bucks got to use an injury exception to balance the salaries involved. I am not a salary cap expert, but I think they would have been hit with the luxury tax AND also lose out on revenue sharing if they are above the salary cap.

But player wise, it looks like they got ripped off. Blake sucked in Milw.
