Default NOW HERE THIS!.....

The new house phone is installed so you don't have to yell in the
hall anymore! he he

I wasn't sure if anyone already had joined
myspace, but it's a regular riot! You gotta come check out the full
grown nuts! There are many open spots left, and we should all pitch in
to help promote The Greatest Show on planet Earth! Check out my page
and you will find the rest.

I wish I could find some pals like Reggie,
The Poor Soul, Ralph, Rudy, Fenwick Babbit, Joe the Bartender, etc.
It's amazing how many fans there are out there that have not even been
found yet. The people crack me up with the comments they leave on my profile page, not to mention the private messages. Who knows, may be we can get another R.A.L.P.H. convention going again! Hope to get feed back from you!

And Awaaaaay We Go!!

Respectfully yours,
Edward Lilywhite Norton

Lmao! I love it when Ed gets himself in trouble, he he. Thanks for that quote. The funny part is Ed was speaking the truth. It seems like Ralph really was "true blue". That must be why Alice always forgave him, no matter what he did or say. It almost seemed a little unrealistic, cause when I say something terrible or stupid to my wife, well BANG! ZOOM! Boy, I hear about it. But I think the true deep love that Gleason put into these characters was brilliant. That played a huge part in making this show the greatest. Norton on the other hand, I'm sure he would never be a sneak to Trix. But I guess he couldn't help himself for seeing some women as Va va va voom! What a great character! I'm glad Gleason made Carney so funny. He could of taken another approach and made all the jokes on poor ole dummy Norton. But instead, Ralph was usually the joke of the day. I wonder why he made Trixie’s part so small. Was it personal or just business? I guess The Great One knew what he was doing, he he.
You gotta luv em!

Thank you both for checking out my page. I have had all of this Honeymoner rage in my blood for a while now, and I finally found a medium to express myself. I started off with just a simple personal page, until I came across another mooner nut. It got to the point where I had to delete all of my friends and family, because some of them were getting confused. I set up a seperate page for them, as well as a simple dedication page for Joyce Randolph. Currently, there is only one dedication page for Gleason, Randolph, Meadows, & 2 Honeymooner pages. The coolest thing about myspace is, there could be 100 Gleasons, or Ralphs, or Nortons. It's endless. The other Honeymooner page is dedicated to the classic 39. There are over 177 million people on myspace, so it is a great medium to promote the show. It's to bad that more educated fans are not getting some pages going. There isn't even one Carney page. I have already suggested that some of the people come over to this board, but I don't think they have. It's a totally different atmosphere. This message board seems to have more educated fans. I think I will try to recruit some more people here once I get some more "true blue" fanatics. If anyone needs some help setting up a page, please let me know. It was a little tricky at first, but I have most of it figured out now.

Thanks again!

That's why I made that quote my signature. I just love how Norton gets himself...& Ralph into trouble lol.
I'm not sure why Trixie's part was so small. Maybe Gleason felt that Art, him & Audrey had the best chemistry or maybe he thought having 4 constant characters *2 constant wives yelling at thier husbands* would be too much. I will admit I thought Trixie was a little to bossy with Norton -she seemed to be more of the "bossy mothering" type than the wife & lover type. Well whatever the reasoning Jackie knew what he was doing that's for sure lol.

I think I'm going to do the same as you with the Myspace. Make a "Honeymooner" one with nothing but Honeymooner people & than have regular one for friends & family.
Actually since I just love Art Carney I think I will be the first to make a Carney page.

Yah, I figured you would do a Carney page. Lol! I would if I had time, but I'm pretty busy with the other & I would want to make his great, which would take some time. I can't wait until you get him up & running. It will be a riot. Va va va voom! he he

Considering that the Jayne Meadows MySpace page is only about seven weeks old and the fact that the layout is cheap looking would lead me to believe that it's fake.

Thanks for pointing her page out to me. I didn't know about it. Just so you know, most of the pages are fake. That's what makes it fun. People usually refer to the person as themselves. Although, there are some real ones. I have not found any big stars that are real, but found several people in the industry. If her page had some candid photos, it might lead me to think it is her. I'm gonna keep an eye on her, just in case. If you are looking up names, check out Peter Crescenti. I think he is the real deal, but he is not sharring it with the world, because his page is hardly used & doesn't have anything on his page. There are a few people with the same name, but his age and location will give it away.

Well you've got to consider the fact that Jayne Meadows probably isn't too big on the internet, much like the majority of people her age. Could you picture Gleason going online and checking up on his MySpace everyday and making the background all nice and fancy? I think there's a chance it could actually be her, but like powbangzooom said, there's a lot of fake celebrity MySpace pages out there.

Heh I was searching around Myspace & found a page under "Edward Norton" turns out it's an actual actor (I've never heard of him. That's one awesome name he has though!)

It's interesting to see that there are many people on MySpace who have chosen to have the Honeymooners theme.
