I just noticed the bio on Wikipedia for Yvonne DeCarlo that she is dead.

September 1, 1922-January 10, 2007 it says.

Though I do not see any evidence that she has passed anywhere!

I'm not sure if that's real- the person who posted it seems to have warnings about posting false information for other entries. There are no articles anywhere else confirming this, either. We'll just have to wait a while and see if it's mentioned anywhere else.

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Yvonne De Carlo, the beautiful star who played Moses' wife in "The Ten Commandments" but achieved her greatest popularity on TV's slapstick comedy "The Munsters," has died. She was 84.

De Carlo died of natural causes Monday at the Motion Picture & Television facility in suburban Los Angeles, longtime friend and television producer Kevin Burns said Wednesday.

De Carlo, whose shapely figure helped launch her career in B-movie desert adventures and Westerns, rose to more important roles in the 1950s. Later, she had a key role in a landmark Broadway musical, Stephen Sondheim's "Follies."

But for TV viewers, she will always be known as Lily Munster in the 1964-1966 horror-movie spoof "The Munsters." The series (the name allegedly derived from "fun-monsters") offered a gallery of Universal Pictures grotesques, including Dracula and Frankenstein's monster, in a cobwebbed gothic setting.

I just saw the news on yahoo's front page too. So sad. In Stephen Cox's book, it said her health was failing from the author's last visit with the star. I'm sad to see 2 of The Munsters pass away in recent days. Her spirit and beauty live on in a show and character that we all adore so much.

We love you Yvonne!

...certainly wasn't in the best of health the last few years of her life, and perhaps passing away as quietly as she did was the best way to go. Unlike most of the residents at the Motion Picture & Television "County Home", she was still remembered by "Munsters" fans all over the world...and she knew it.
Whether people will remember the movies she appeared in for Universal and other studios over 60 years ago {"Salome, Where She Danced"?} is another matter....
