I remember a couple of episodes with a light being living in a light ship. Looked light small white Christmas lights. The light being had the secret to getting the family back to their time. Am I insane.

No. Land Of The Lost was a mid-70's Sid and Marty Krofft Saturday Morning show about a father and his two children that accidently go down a waterfall, and survive. They are trapped in prehistoric time, and make friends with these little dudes in costumes. I have one episode of the show, that is an original, uncut one. It was so cheap and dumb.

I did not think Land Of The Lost was dumb at all. As a matter of fact, it's a great Saturday Morning Memory. One of the networks tried to revise the show in the 1990's and it was just awful. Does anyone remember when "Uncle Jack came searching"? I have also heard that the show is going to make its big screen debut in the next year or two.

Yeah, I remember when Uncle Jack came on. The guy who played the father quit, so he was replaced for the third and final season. That's when things slid downhill. Check out the first season, though -- very imaginative and creative, with some scripts by "Star Trek" veterans. Certainly better than a lot of the limited-animation Hanna-Barbera garbage that was thrown at us kids in the 70s.
