eagles giants thoughts!!!! - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Typical eagles vs giants football game. Hard fought, down to the end battle of wills & the better team prevailed in a way that 8 weeks ago could never have ever happened. Giants just tie the game at 20 with 5 minutes to go, the old eagles would not have been able to run out the clock to perfection as they did yesterday.

The new playcalling & confidence in the playcalling was never more apparent than in the closing minutes of yesterdays game. The eagles were determined to take the clock down to the very end & that is just what they did!!!

Brian westbrook is quite simply amazing, I always knew the kid could be an everyday back if given the chance & he has taken this chance & just " ran with it".

It wasn't the eagles A game yesterday but a solid business like effort against a division rival.

They will have to play much much better against the saints to win & let me tell you, I am enjoying this ride my team is on. It was a great football weekend, Cowboys lose in heartbreaking fashion, my team eliminates the giants, life is good for at least 1 more week.

1 more thing.. AWESOME JOB BY THE FANS @ THE LINC YESTERDAY!!! WE ALL BROUGHT OUR A GAME!!!!!!!!!!

I think the Eagles are in for quite a fight this weekend against the New Orleans Saints. The trifecta of Brees, Bush and McAllister not to mention a solid receiving corp is going to bring quite the fight to the Eagles. The Saints Are Coming!

Yup their last road playoff game was against the rams in the nfc championship game
