Two of the stories in the Bizare Murder set are directly linke. The one where the reporter was the target of a hit and the writer Danny Colsandro. If memory serves me correctly. Don Deuix (Sorry if it is spelled wrong) mailed some material to Danny C and a few days later Danny C turned up dead. Was the crime Don D working on that made him target of a hit the octopus.

The main question is why on the commentaries did the directors not mention that they did stories on both of these cases.

If you watch that segment again......you'll here Deveraux mention how there are corrupt domestic/foreign people & agencies involved.....some of the same agencies that Danny Casolaro had linked via the 'Octopus'.

There were so many high level players here, anyone of em could've wacked Charles Morgan and whoever did that would definitely have reason to want Don Deveraux dead as well....so yeah I think it was his 'digging' that got him into that sticky situation

The big surprise was how the commentaries did not mention oh yeah we did a story on that murder as well.

Agreed. You would think that since the two stories were so closely linked that they would at least make a mention of the fact.

In that segment, Stack clearly alluded to the fact that an original segment solely on Charles Morgan was filmed....(by saying Don Deveraux had been a key part of said segment)

The fact that noone mentioned a segment had been done about Danny Casolaro already seems to point to the fact that noone wanted to imply any link between the cases.....because there was never any proof of exactly who was involved (mafia, renegade gov't employees etc.) in either of the cases (most of Casolaro's docs disappeared after he died)
