Default My NFL playoff picks for next week

Indianapolis vs Baltimore - Winner: Indianapolis. I think the Colts offense, will be too much for Baltimore's great defense.

Philadelphia vs New Orleans - Winner: Philadelphia. I want New Orleans, but I'm picking the Eagles to win by three. I have a feeling this'll be the game of the week!!

Seattle vs Chicago - Winner: Seattle. I just have this gut feeling, that the pieces are finally starting to come together for Seattle, so I'm picking them to win in a close game. Might even go into overtime.

New England vs San Diego - Winner: New England. This is my upset pick of the week. I think New England's wealth of experience will pull it out, against a young and hot, San Diego team.

What are your picks for next week??

I like Baltimore---that defense is scary good!

New Orleans---I think this is a magical run for the Saints

Chicago---sorry Brad, but that Chicago defense and playing in Chicago might be too much for them.

San Diego---this is my pick to win it all. Sorry Janice.

That's okay. I don't think many people are giving the Hawk's much of a chance next week, and I really can't blame them. Hopefully my gut about them is right though. Of course, that might just be gas.

Damn, I just realized that you and I disagree on the outcome of every game. LOL!! I went back and forth between New Orleans and Philadelphia, and even had the Saints winning, but changed it at the last minute. That's a tough one to call, and should be a really good game.

I will admit that the Seahawks have a chance if Rex Grossman plays badly. That is an extreme possibility.

Your picks are supposed to be based on your knowledge of the teams not on who you would like to see win.

Ravens win because the Colts do play well outside against good Defenses

Pats win because they have the experience and Phillips Rivers is in the playoffs for the first time

Saints win because Hollis Thomas is a run stopper, Brees is a Good QB, Reggie Bush is amazing, and the Sean Payton has Jim Johnson figured out

Bears win because Seattle has no offense and no Defense and received a gift from dallas on Sat in order to move to round 2

Yeah, and If I went with who I'd like to see win, I'd have both New Orleans, and San Diego winning next week. Like I said, I want the Saints to win, but I think the Eagles will squeek one out against them. other than the Seahawks, I'm really not all that fanatical about any team in the playoffs, so these are my non-biased picks. I think the Seahawks will win because they're the team I most closely followed this year, and they have Alexander and Hasselbeck back.

You know Tom Brady back in the 2001 playoffs had little experience at the time and pulled it off after he had his doubters back then.
That is how they are saying about SD and Phil Rivers. As I think that SD is on a roll as well as they have their doubters. Plus LT will be hard to stop for the Pats as the Pats had a relative easy time with the Jets. But it will be anything but easy for them this time around.
Either the Chargers or the Ravens will give the Pats a run for the money.

My picks who will win.

Baltimore- That defense will harass Peyton all day.

Saints.- Cindarella team.

Chicago- Same as the Ravens defense is too strong.

Patriots- Marty will be out coached and choke like he always does.
