hey hd an l&s fans i am counting down the months, and i have a good feeling that all three shows hd laverne an shirley and mork an mindy will be commerically advertise and i think that paramount will put on as a bonus the pilot episodes of both hd an laverne an shirley thats my guess i hope i am right

I dont know why they'd do that arent they already on the season 1 dvds or are you talking about unaired pilot episodes?

I know they put the pilot of Gomer Pyle, which was an episode of The Andy Griffith Show on the Gomer Pyle DVD. However, they did not put The Andy Griffith Show pilot, which was an episode of The Danny Thomas Show on DVD. Because someone else owns the rights to The Danny Thomas Show (or as they call it Make Room for Daddy). So it just comes down to, if Paramount owns the rights to Love, American Style. Are the pilots to Laverne and Shirley and Mork and Mindy the episodes from Happy Days?

Okay, here's what I know about the pilots of the three shows in question:

Happy Days

The first pilot was the "Love and the Happy Days" episode of Love, American Style. This series is owned by Paramount, so it is possible that they could include this episode as a bonus. However, they didn't put it in the first-season set, where it logically would belong, so I don't expect it to be on the second-season set.

The second pilot was the first episode of the series, "All the Way." This is included in the first-season set.

Laverne & Shirley

As far as I know the only "pilot" was the first episode of the series, "The Society Party." That is included in the first-season set.

Mork & Mindy

There was a one-hour pilot called "Pilot." That is included in the first-season set.

well, they could put the episodes of Happy Days that featured the first appearances of L&S and Mork with each respective set as bonuses, but I highly doubt that they will.
