Otherwise known as "Telma's Folly". Telma Hopkins left the successfuly "Family Matters" for this, and missed out on years of residuals from her old show.

Wow - "Apples's Way"! For an obscure drama that didn't air very long, I've seen this pop up quite a few times in reruns. The last time I saw it was on a cable channel called Home Theater Network in the early 80s.
I'm showing my age here, but I remember when this was first on CBS in the 70s, and the promos that were aired before the first episode: "If you like 'The Waltons', you're gonna love 'Apple's Way'!" The one episode that sticks in my mind was the one where there was a hurricane or tornado of some kind. Kristy McNichol played one of the daughters during the second season. "One Big Family" was one of the many syndicated sitcoms that popped up in the late 80s. It starred Danny Thomas (his last regular sitcom role) as a retired comedian who moves in with his orphaned nephews and nieces. [This message has been edited by TV Guy (edited 09-20-2001).] |

Hey thanks for the information Pavanbadal, that show was one of my favorite shows on NBC. The most I like about that show is the oldest daughter Nicki Hale played by Nicki Vannice what a hottie she was. I just wondered what ever happened to her the last time I saw her she did a guest spot on Dave's World on CBS as a French exchange student Dave took care of for a little bit.

I like Goodlife. I thought I was the only poster who got it. It has good shows, maybe a tad corny, but I rather have corny than
risque. I watch the FBI on fridays. |

vze3t, you're not the only member to have Goodlife. I recently got the network back on our cable system after a 2-year hiatus. I've taken advantage since by taping 77 Sunset Strip, F-Troop, Kotter, Color Honeymooners, Mayberry RFD, and New Dick Van Dyke.
