I don't necessarily believe that. There are people who do stupid things, and I don't think there's always reason behind those things. Some things are just pointless, and have absolutely no reason to them whatsoever as far as I'm concerned. It's kind of like when people say that everything happens the way it was meant to happen. I never bought into that either. I don't think there was ever meant to be thousands of wars. I don't think 9/11, or Saddam Hussein and his sons, or Radical Islam killing and torturing thousands of innocent people, was meant to be. I don't know, I may be wrong, but that's just my view.

I do believe however that lessons can be learned from all things, and that we can grow and change, and become better people through all things.

If it does, then someone has a lot of explaining to do.

I'm not sure.

I think some things probably do, but like Brad says, other things that happen seem pointless. I certainly can't see any reason for some of the bad things that have happened in the world. Maybe there is a reason for them, but I can't see it.

So I don't know what I think, really.

I de believe that things happen for a reason. They aren't necessarily reasons that fall in our favor or in our disfavor.

People - I believe that people come in or out of our lives for a reason. It can be whether to teach us about something or ourselves. Then, they either stay in our lives or just lingered around for a short period of time. As much as I hate the part about people staying around for a short amount of time in our lives really bugs me, I can see where their short presence in our lives can make such a difference.

Events - (9/11 and stuff like that...) I believe that events happen for a reason because of the force of an entire nation, country, culture or even community. It's the force behind the action, not the action itself. If you all recall, shortly after all these attacks, there came the slogan "United We Stand." The event caused a lot of people acting together and snapping that we should stick together during times of need. There were so many unity-themes and even flags and slogans to show we are acting as one.

It's these kinds of reasons that I believe do happen for a reason in this life. Then again, that's just my personal belief.

I think so...I think. At least that's what I feel. I have no reason to back it up but it's automatically what I think.

I believe that VERY LITTLE happens for "no reason".

It might not always be readily apparent, or the truth might be massively discomforting to acknowledge (to the point of denial). But I believe if you look deeply enough into most things, you'll find a reason behind (whatever)
