Who is your favorite re-occuring character to never get their name in the opening song?

Some that come to mind for me are:

Igor
Rizzo
Zale
Ho John
Ugly John
Sidney
Col. Flagg
Nurse Kelley
Spearchucker
PA Announcer (lol)

Col. Flagg. How many episodes does he appear in? I've only seen him in about 3 or 4 episodes so far but he's hilarious.

hmmm...my favorite would have to be PA Announcer. lol poor guy, you never see him but he's ALWAYS there! even when Radar is in the office, the man's voice just HAPPENS to appear.

lol, but my 2nd fave would have to be Sidney

Flagg was in 6 episodes I belive:

Rally Around the Flagg, Boys
White Gold
A Smattering of Intelligence
Officer of the Day
Quo Vadis, Captain Chandler
The Abduction of Margaret Houlihan

Edward Winter also appeared in Deal Me Out, but they used the character name Capt. Halloran instead of Flagg (though maybe that was one of his covers)

I wish that Kelley would have had a better role developed for her earlier in the show.

I have Allan Arbus (Sidney's) autograph. It makes me happy!

there were 2 P.A. announncers, Sal Viscousi and..I forget the other guys name; but they both had small roles in the show every now and then.

DEAL ME OUT was Edward Winters first appearance. It's not unusual for the writers to change a characters name, or part of it, after their first appearence. For instance the first time Sidney Freedman was on, his name was Milton Freedman.

Flagg and Sydney were my favorites.

One character I wish they kept around was Capt. Sam Pak, played by Pat Morita. He only made two appearances, then he was never seen again.

I always liked Sidney Freedman. Hawkeye's nemesis, yet close friend. That relationship was always interesting. Sidney was really the only one who get through Hawkeye's goofball exterior. Interesting stuff.
