The Reunion 2: How it should of went

Ok I don't have a title yet as you can tell but maybe after you read this part I post you can come up with a suggestion for a title for my story. Here is my story but there is 1 thing I should say I know this takes place a year after the reunion but not everything is going to be the same with how it was during the reunion so here it is:

The story starts at the house in Peekskill
Edna: Beverly I wanted to thank you again for letting me move in with you after Bruce died
Bev: Edna it's been a year and a half since his death, you have thanked me enough
Edna: I know but I hate putting you out like this
Bev: Putting me out I live in a two story house which used to be yours by the way, have no job, no husband and plus your my sister
Edna: I know and I appreciate it
Edna gets a little tired
Bev: Edna, are you ok?
Edna: Yes why do you ask?
Bev: Oh I don't know maybe because you have been getting tired alot lately. You really need to go see a doctor
Edna: Oh Bev you worry to much it's just a sign of old age, you know people do get tired alot more as they get older
Bev: But this is the 4th time t his week and its only Tuesday
Edan: Ok, ok if it makes you feel better I will call the doctor and get a check-up
Bev: Thank you.

Now they fade to a boarding school where a beautiful blond is finishing talking to a student
Blair: Blake this is the 4th time you skipped class I can't keep having your teachers let you make up your exams so you better shape up and worry more on your studies young man or I am going to have to expel you for the rest of the term
Blake: No don't do that or my dad will send me to military school
Blair: Well then don't skip class. But you’re not getting off that easy for the next month you’re going to be working at the Warner Inn as the bell boy after school and on weekends
Blake: Weekends but those are my only free days
Blair: Well you should have thought about that before you skipped class. You can go now
Blake leaves the office and the secretary pages Blair
Secretary: Mrs. Warner your husband is on line 1
Blair: Tad Honey hi
Tad: Hi Blair, I know you were planning on a special evening tonight since we both were going to be home
Blair: Yes I sure am I can't wait
Tad: Well can you wait till 8 o’clock
Blair: Oh no Tad don't say it's another meeting
Tad: Yeah it is I'm sorry but it’s about the development on our new hotel so we can get it up and running
Blair: Oh all right but you better be home by 8 sharp
Tad: Yes Mam
Its 7:30 and Tad comes in and puts his hands across Blair's eyes
Tad: BOO
Blair: Ahhh!
Turns around and see's Tad
Slaps Tad's shoulder
Blair: Don't do that you almost gave me a heart attack
Tad: I'm sorry I just wanted to surprise you
Blair: Well your home early, how'd you get done so soon?
Tad: We just went through everything faster then we thought
Blair: Well anyways cook has made a great meal and it’s ready so we can go to the dinning room and eat
Tad: Great I'm starving
The cook brings there meal
Tad: Here are the pictures of the new hotel so far, it’s our biggest one yet
Blair: Oh it looks wonderful Tad
Tad: So how was your day?
Blair: Well it was alright I had another talk with Blake Smith, he skipped class again and for his punishment I am making him work at the Inn here in town as a bell boy under my supervision
Tad: Oh poor kid
Blair: Hey I’m not that bad
Tad: I know I'm just teasing
They finish there supper and Blair grabs Tads hand and sticks it on her belly
Blair: Did you feel that, the baby kicked
Tad: Yeah I did, wow that's amazing
Blair: It sure is
Tad liens over and kiss's Blair
Blair: I have been thinking when we go to our next doctor’s appointment I thought we could find out the gender of our baby
Tad: I thought you wanted that to be a surprise
Blair: Well I changed my mind and I know how badly you want to know
Tad: Yeah I would really like to find out but I can wait if you really want to
Blair: No, the more I think about it the more I want to know to
Tad: Well this is great I can't wait
Blair smiles at Tad and they kiss

Now they go to this little house in California and there 2 hours behind so it's 5:30 there
The door closes and Jamie walks in. Jo is getting ready for work and just getting off the phone and see's Jamie creeping by
Jo: Jamie guess who I just got done talking to on the phone?
Jamie: I don't know Publishers Clearing House
Jo: Don't be sarcastic with me young lady, it was your principle. You skipped class again, why?
Jamie: It was such a nice day I didn't want to waste it and plus the class is so boring I mean I am getting an A in it all I have to do is read the chapter and I'll be fine
Jo: But this is the 3rd time in 2 weeks. I can't believe you ever since you have been hanging out with that new group of kids
Jamie: Hey don't blame them
Jo: But there not a good influence on you
Jamie: And what, you are, your hardly ever home anymore you’re always at work and even if your home you’re either changing for work or just home in time to go to bed
Jo: That's it young lady your grounded for a week, no TV, radio, computer or going out with friends
Rick walks in
Jamie: Why don't you just keep me locked up like one of your criminals
Rick: Hey don't talk to your mother like that
Jamie storms off to her room
Jo: Oh Rick I don't know what to do with that girl she used to be a good kid and she is really smart but she keeps getting into trouble
Rick: I recall a similar young lady who was smart then talked her friends into going to a bar and got sent to jail
Jo: Hey Tootie suggested the bar that wasn't my idea
Rick: But you went along with it
Jo: I just hope Jamie doesn't do anything like that, but speaking of jail I got to go to work
Rick: Are you going to be home tonight?
Jo: Yeah but it will probably be late
Rick: But Jo you’re always coming home late anymore
Jo: Rick that's the life of a cop you said it wouldn't bother you when I took this job
Rick: Yeah but I didn't know you would be gone this much
Jo: Sorry Rick I don't have time to get into this now or I'll be late
Jo goes and kisses Rick and heads off to work

The next day
Bev: Good morning Edna I made some breakfast
Edna: Oh sorry I don't have time to eat I got to go to my doctors appointment
Bev: Well I hope your right I hope the reason you've been so tired lately is due to old age
Edna: Me too
Edna grabs a piece of toast and takes a drink of Orange Juice and heads off to the doctor. Edna is at doctor’s office and just got done taking a few tests and is waiting on the results. Doctor comes in
Doc: Well Mrs. Garrett we have your results now
Edna: It’s not good is it Doc
Doc: I'm afraid not, it looks like your cancer has come back the bone marrow we took from your son doesn't seem to be working like we'd hoped and your cancer is worse
Edna: That explains why I’ve been so tired lately
Doc: Well I don't think there is anyway we can cure this so you better tell everyone you love cause it could get alot worse any day now.
Edna: Ok thank you doctor Miller
Doc: Sorry there's nothing else we can do
Edna comes out to the lobby and see's Raymond
Edna: Ray what are you doing here
Ray: I am getting my monthly check-up, ever since I gave you some of my bone marrow the doctor wanted me to come in for monthly check-ups
Edna: Oh I see
Ray: What are you doing here mom
Edna: You better sit down
Edna tells Ray about the cancer coming back and she is on her way back home
As Edna is driving home she thinks about her family
Edna: How am I going to tell them, I mean Ray was a little shook up but he already knew I had cancer before, but the girls how do I tell them, I was always strong, they thought of me as Gondi, how am I supposed to tell them I am dying?
A tear falls down her cheek

That's all for now, I don't know when I will post again. I will try to post sometime this weekend but I don't know when. Tomorrow I might get together with my boyfriend so If I am home before 12 or 1 I might still post some and Saturday I don't know what’s going on I work from 4-8 in the evening and my work has there Christmas party after 8 o’clock so I don't know when I will be home, but Sunday I work during the day from 6-2 so I plan on posting later that day. So I will post sometime this weekend just keep checking. Oh and I hope you like my story so far and if you have any suggestions for a title let me know thanks.

Ok here's some more of my story, enjoy.

They go to this theater where Tootie now formally known as Dorothy is directing the play the Wild Duck. A young girl walks in
Tisha: Is my mom here
Robert turns around
Robert: Hi Tisha, and yes she is over there interviewing more actors
Tisha: Thanks
Tisha walks over to her mother
Dorothy: Tisha hi honey
Tisha: Sorry I'm a little late mom we had a late class meeting
Dorothy: Oh that's fine were just getting done here
Tisha: So you got all your actors yet
Dorothy: Yes actually just cast our last one, now we just have to rehearse and our play should be ready
Tisha: That’s great
Dorothy: So how was school?
Tisha: Good we got to watch a movie today since we only have a couple days left before summer break
Dorothy: Sounds like fun
Tisha: Oh a bunch of us got to talking after our meeting and a bunch of the kids want to get together at the library and study for finals Thursday can I go were all going to pitch in and order pizza please mom
Dorothy: Well I was going to make us supper
Robert walks over
Robert: Hey I could come over and eat with you and we could discuss the play some more
Dorothy: Well you will be studying right
Tisha: Yep that's the plan
Dorothy: Ok I just have to lock up and I will drive you to the library
Robert: How about I do that take my stuff home and that will give you time to get things ready and I will be over in about say an hour
Dorothy: Sounds good thanks Robert
Robert: It's no problem
Robert drives Tisha to the library
Tisha: So you have been going over to my mom’s alot lately
Robert: Well we both manage the theater and with the play coming up there's lots to discuss
Tisha: Oh I see
Robert: So did you enjoy your first year at Eastland
Tisha: Yeah it has been great, I've made alot of friends
Robert: Well that's good to here. I know your mom is happy to see you enjoying school and she loves being back in Peekskill
Tisha: Yeah it's a nice town. I actually got to experience snow for the first time that was great
Robert: Yeah until you have to shovel the drive-way that can be a pain. Here we are. Have fun studying
Tisha: Oh yeah loads, thanks for the ride Robert
Robert: Your welcome, see you later
Tisha: Bye
An hour later Robert enters Dorothy's house
Dorothy: I'm in the kitchen
Robert comes in the kitchen
Dorothy: Hi Robert
Robert: Hi Too... I mean Dorothy (says sarcastically)
Dorothy: HA HA very funny
Dorothy hands him a glass of wine
Robert: Thanks, well I have been thinking maybe it's time we tell Tisha about us
Dorothy: I don't know
Robert: We have been dating for a little over a month now and she did ask me why I come over so much tonight
Dorothy: Oh she did what did you say?
Robert: I just told her we have alot of business stuff to talk about
Dorothy: Well maybe we should tell her I mean she has told me she likes’s you
Robert: Yeah (goes and wraps his arms around Dorothy) she is a great kid
Dorothy: Yes she is
Timer goes off
Dorothy: Dinner is ready
Robert: Great smells good
Dorothy: Yeah Mrs. Garrett taught me how to make this
Robert: If it’s anything like her thanksgiving meal I will love it
Dorothy: Yeah that was a good meal and she is a very good cook she taught all of us girls how to cook
Robert: Boy y our lucky to have 2 moms
Dorothy: Yeah Mrs. Garrett was like my 2nd mom she was always there for us whenever we needed her I'm so glad she came to be our house mother at Eastland

Now they go to this nice elegant restaurant in downtown NYC
Nat: Oh Harper this place is wonderful
Harp: Yeah well 1yr anniversary is very special
Nat: It's been a great year too
Harp: Yes it sure has, so what do you want
Nat: I don't know yet
Harp: I see they have your favorite mozzarella melts as an appetizer
Nat: Oh they do can we get some of those
Harp: sure
Waiter comes over
Waiter: HI my name is Steve and I will be your waiter this evening are you ready to order
Harp looks over at Nat and she nods like she is ready
Harp: Yes we are
Nat: I think I will go with the chicken breast with green peppercorn sauce
Harp: and I will have your prime rib special & an order of your mozzarella melts
Waiter: Coming right up sir
Nat: This place sure is fancy
Harp: I thought will were waiting for our food we could exchange our gifts
Nat: Ok you go first
Harp: No ladies first
Nat: ok here is your gift
Harp opens his card first and laughs
Nat: I knew you would get a kick out of it
Then he opens his gift
Harp: Two tickets for the Yankees against the Braves oh Nat thank you, now who will I take with me (scratches his chin)
Nat: Harp
Harp: Ok you can go with me
Nat: I would hope so since I got you the tickets
Harp: And I love them thank you so much, ok here is your gift
He hands her a Yellow envelope but she opens the card first
Nat: Oh that's so sweet Harp
Harp: Yeah I actually typed that myself
Nat: I'm touched
Harp: Now open your gift
Nat opens the envelope and see's some documents and a picture of a little baby boy about 2 years old
Nat: Harp this is adoption papers
Harp: Did you notice the baby in the picture
Nat looks at the picture
Nat: Harp that Samuel the kid I did that story on
Harp: Well we have been talking about adopting since you can't have kids so I looked into it and Sam was finally up for adoption and I know how attached you got when you did that story about him so I thought why not
Nat: Harp you really want to adopt him
Harp: Sure I know it will make you happy
Nat: Oh Harp this is the best gift ever I love you so much I'm speechless
Harp: Well you sure said alot for being speechless
Nat hits his arm in a playful way and kisses him
There food comes and they eat

They go back to Edna who is sitting in her room. There is a knock at the door
Edna: Come in
Bev: Edna supper is ready
Edna; I'm not real hungry right now
Bev: Is something wrong Edna you have been up here all day
Edna: I'm just thinking
Bev: Edna come on you can tell me if something is wrong, heck were sisters we tell each other everything
Edna: Ok you’re going to fine out eventually. Well you better sit down
Bev: Uh oh this can't be good
Edna: You know I was diagnosed with cancer a while back
Bev: Yeah but Raymond gave you some of his bone marrow and your better now
Edna: Well the bone marrow isn't working like the doctor hoped and the cancer has come back
Bev: Can't they do anything
Edna: They said it’s really bad so bad there's nothing they can do about it but just let me die
Bev can't believe what she is hearing
Bev: But there's got to be something they can do I mean they keep getting doing new research
Edna: Beverly the doctor said the caner is really bad it's too late I'm going to die
Bev starts getting teary eyed
Bev: You can't die, not yet
Edna: I'm sorry but this is how it is. Oh can you do me one favor
Bev: Sure what is it?
Edna: Call the girls and ask them if they and there family's if possible can come up for the weekend I need to tell them cause the doctor said the cancer could take me at anytime. I saw Ray after my doctor’s appointment so he knows
Bev: Of course I will do that
Edna: I just don't know how to tell them, I know I have to it's just going to be very hard
Bev: I will help you if it gets to hard to tell them
Edna: Thanks Beverly
They hug
Bev: You sure you’re not hungry I made moms famous Wisconsin Cheese and Broccoli soup
Edna: Ok maybe one bowl

Back at Dorothy's they are finished eating and now there sitting and talking
Dorothy: Oh I almost forgot its Nat and Harpers Anniversary I should call them but I need to go pick up Tisha
Robert: No problem how about I go pick her up that should give you enough time to chat with Nat
Dorothy: Thank you so much Robert
They kiss
Robert: Ok I will be back
Dorothy calls Nat
Nat answers her cell and notices that Dorothy called
Nat: Hey Too... I mean Dorothy what's up
Dorothy: Oh just called to wish you and Harper a happy 1yr anniversary
Nat: Oh thanks Dorothy
Dorothy: So how is it? Where did he take you? Get anything good?
Nat: Wow slow down there. It's going great, Harp took me to Shay Lamar’s
Dorothy: Classy, so what did he get you?
Nat: Well you know I can't have kids, and that we have been talking about possibly adopting
Dorothy: Yeah
Nat: Well you won't believe it but Harp got me adoption papers
Dorothy: Your going to adopt that’s great
Nat: And the best part is the kid Harp wants us to adopt is Sam the one I did that story about
Dorothy: You mean the kid that came and survived that tragedy over in Afghanistan
Nat: Yeah his whole family died but someone found him and brought him back to the states and now he is up for adoption and Harp and I are going to try to adopt him
Dorothy: Well Nat that is wonderful I hope you do get to adopt him
Nat: Me to, that would be so great. So how are things?
Dorothy: Well we got all our actors cast finally
Nat: That's good I know you were hoping you would get that done this week
Dorothy: Yeah I know so now all we have to do is rehearse
Nat: Well Harp and I plan on being there your opening night
Dorothy: Great I'm so glad you can make it
Nat: I wouldn't miss it for the world. Well hey our check is coming so I'm going to let you go
Dorothy: Ok, it's been great talking to you
Nat: You to, talk to you soon
Dorothy: Ok bye
Nat: Bye
Harp: That was Dorothy
Nat: Yep she wanted to tell us happy anniversary
Harp & Nat go pay there bill and head home.


There you go I don't know if I will be able to post tomorrow but I will post more on Sunday. I hope you are enjoying it so far. Oh and there's one thing I didn't mention my story is pretty long so it will probably take me a while to get it all posted but I will don't worry.

It's the next day and Bev finishes her breakfast and drives over to Eastland School. Bev walks up to the secretary’s desk
Secretary: Hello how may I help you?
Bev: Hi yes my name is Beverly Ann Stickle and I am looking for Mrs. Blair Warner is she in her office
Secretary: Yes she is
Beverly: May I speak with her or is she busy
Secretary: Let me page her
Secretary pages Blair
Secretary: Mrs. Warner there is a Mrs. Stickle out here and she wants to know if you’re free to talk to her
Blair: Send her on in
Secretary: You may go on in
Beverly: Thank you
Blair: Beverly Ann hi
Beverly: Did you do something different with your office
Blair: Yes actually I put up a new portrait of me on the wall behind me here
Beverly: Oh I thought that looked different then the one you had there
Blair: Yeah the other one was out dated
Beverly: But I thought you just put that one up last year
Blair: Yeah but it had last years hair do I thought I needed one with my new do. So what are you doing here?
Beverly: Well the reason I can over is cause Edna wondered if you and Tad are free to come over this weekend
Blair: Well we were planning on coming over Sunday; it's our monthly get together but with Dorothy working on the play she didn't know if she could make it.
Beverly: Oh yeah I forgot that was this weekend already
Blair: But she wants us to come for the whole weekend
Beverly: Well not just you but she wants you, Dorothy, Nat and Jo and your families to come over she has something very important she needs to talk to you guys about.
Blair: Well then I will make time anything for Mrs. Garrett I don't know about Tad he can make it Sunday but Saturday he might have to go to NYC to do something’s with the new hotel.
Bev: Ok I will put you down
Blair: She wants Jo to come I don't know it's hard to get Jo to come up to NY anymore now that she has her new job I think I have only seen her twice since she moved there 5 years ago. Once was for her Birthday and then she can for Nat's wedding
Beverly: Oh yeah but she had to leave early that next morning so she was only here for like a day and a half
Blair: Yeah I know that wasn't long enough
Beverly: Well I will call and try to get her to come
Blair: Hey I could call her for you
Beverly: But you have to get her to come, it’s very important that she comes. Mrs. Garrett told me she really wants Jo and all you girls there
Blair: I will get her to come somehow
Bev: Good luck, well I need to go see if Dorothy can come
Blair: Ok oh what time does she want us there?
Bev: Sorry I almost forgot to tell you she wants you there around 3 and she is going to cook supper. Oh and I will let you know if the girls will come so you can reserve rooms for them at the hotel
Blair: Ok thanks Beverly sees you Saturday then
Beverly: Yep see you Saturday
Bev goes over to the theater and walks in and see's Robert
Beverly: Hi Robert
Robert: Beverly hi
Beverly: Is Dorothy around
Robert: Yeah she is over there getting things ready for rehearsal
Bev: Oh thanks
Bev walks over to Dorothy
Bev: I like your set Dorothy
Dorothy turns around
Dorothy: Beverly Ann hi what are you doing here you’re not supposed to be here till opening night I gave stricked rules to you and Mrs. Garrett
Bev: I know but I came over as a favor to Edna
Dorothy: Oh is everything ok
Beverly: So far, but she wants me to ask you if your busy this weekend you and Tisha
Dorothy: Well I am going to have a small rehearsal Saturday morning but other then that I am free I was going to call you guys and let you know I could make it Sunday for our monthly get together. But she wants us over on Saturday why not just Sunday?
Beverly: Well she has something very important she wants to talk to you and the other about
Dorothy: Others
Bev: Yeah you, Blair, Nat and JO
Dorothy: Jo wow she is coming
Bev: Not yet Blair is going to call and try to get her to come it’s very important you all make it
Dorothy: Well what time does she want us to come?
Bev: Saturday at 3
Dorothy: Well then Tisha and I can make it
Bev: Oh yeah she wants you girls there for the whole weekend
Dorothy: Ok then I can come both days
Bev: Great so far it's you and Blair now I have to go call Nat
Dorothy: I will see you on Saturday
Bev: See you then

Beverly gets back to her place and goes to check on Edna who is taking a nap. Beverly goes and calls Nat
Nats cell goes off
Nat: Natalie Jason here
Beverly: Hi Natalie this is Beverly Ann
Nat: Beverly hi
Beverly: Did I catch you at a bad time
Nat: No just took my break I got 10 minutes here
Beverly: Great the reason I called is to see if you and Harper are free this weekend
Nat: Let me see um I am scheduled to work but I could try and switch why?
Beverly: Well Mrs. Garrett would like it if you could come for the weekend she has something very important she needs to talk to you about
Natalie: I will see what I can do I don't promise I will make it
Beverly: She said it's very important she really wants you to come
Natalie: Well I will try and see if I can switch
Beverly: Ok thanks Natalie
Nat: No problem
Beverly: Oh I almost forgot happy 1year anniversary wasn't that yesterday
Nat: Yes it was and thanks
Bev: So how was it?
Nat: Oh it was great Harp took me out to eat and we had a great night
Beverly: Well that's good
Nat: Yeah I'm taking Harp to the Braves game tomorrow night
Bev: Sounds like fun
Nat: Yeah well I need to go
Beverly: Ok well I sure hope you can come
Nat: I will try, bye
Beverly: Bye
Hangs up and Edna walks in
Edna: Who was on the phone?
Beverly: Well I just got done talking to Natalie and so far I got Blair and Dorothy to come and Dorothy is going to bring Tisha over, Nat has to see if she can get someone to switch with her and Blair is going to call JO
Edna: Ok I sure hope JO can make it she is the one I'm most worried about cause if she can't come and something happens to me in the next couple weeks she would never forgive herself if she wasn't able to come
Bev: Yeah well we just have to pray that she can make it
Edna: Bev thanks for doing this for me
Bev: Hey it's nothing
Edna: Nothing if I went to ask them to come I might just start crying
Bev: I glad I can help you out sis
They hug

It's 10 o'clock P.M. and there back in California. JO just gets home and Jamie just creeps in the house about 2 minutes after Jo got home
Jo: Jamie comes here please
Jamie: what I was going to bed
JO: Where were you you’re supposed to be upstairs your grounded and where's your father
Jamie: He had to go they needed him to play at the restaurant the other guy got sick
Jo: So you snuck out
Jamie: No I was just outside getting fresh air
Jo: Don't lie to me I know your were out with your friends
Jamie: But it was very important I was at the skating boarding park
Jo: So your grounded that means you can't leave the house you’re supposed to be doing your homework you have 2 days of school left you have to show up for your finals so you can pass how could you do this
Jamie: But everyone else was there
JO: Well that's it your band from skate boarding

Jo: So I'm your mother and you didn't obey the rules so now you have to be punished so give it to me

JO: Yes
Rick walks in
Rick: Jamie do as your mother asks
Jamie: Do I have to
Rick: Yes
Gives her the skate board
Jamie: I hate you mom I wish I could have my old mom back
Jamie storms off to her room
Rick: What was that all about?
Jo: SO what you just left our daughter alone she snuck out of the house you knew she was grounded
Rick: She told me she wouldn't go anywhere
Jo: And you believed her
Rick: Well I had to go to work they needed me to play tonight the other guy was sick
Jo: So you just left our 13 year old home alone
Rick: Mrs. Smith was here
JO: I know she was here when I got home and plus she is 75 years old granted she is our neighbor and she is very nice but she falls asleep easily and Jamie can sneak out with her here
Rick: Well what do you want me to do they needed me at work and maybe she wouldn't do things like this if you were home more often
JO: Oh not this again, you know I can't leave work
Rick: So what I have to give up going to work and stay home, Jo my job may not be as important as your but she needs you home too. I love Jamie but I can't be the only one home that takes care of her.
Jo: Well I'm sorry my job requires me to work alot you knew that when I took this job
Rick: Yes I know but I didn't know it was going to be like this
JO: Well I'm sorry but I love my job
Rick: I love my job too
JO: You play piano at a piano bar for a couple hours, 4 times a week
Rick: HEY! Playing the piano is my passion, I thought you understood that
Rick walks out of the room
JO: Rick wait I didn't mean that
Jo goes after Rick
JO: RICK WAIT

JO: I'm sorry I didn't mean that I just said that out of anger, and I love your piano music
Rick: But you didn't have to say that
JO: I know and I'm sorry
Rick: It's just I getting tired of you always having to go to work your hardly home anymore when you are your either in bed or getting ready for work and it's like I never get to be with you anymore, the last time we had a romantic date was our anniversary and that was a month ago, I miss you I know your here but it doesn't seem like your here you know, and I would like to have more kids with you Jo I know Jamie is a handful but we always talked about having another kid
Jo: I know but it's hard with my job
Rick: I know it's always your job, Jo were your family don't we matter to you
Jo: Yes of course you do
Rick: Well you have a funny way of showing it
JO: And what does that mean
Rick: You know Jamie wouldn't be such a handful if you were home to help me discipline her then just yelling at her on your way off to work all the time, I think things would be alot better
Jo: Well I'm going to sleep on the cough
Jo goes downstairs and lays down on the cough about 15minutes later her stomach starts to act up
Jo: Not this again
Jo goes and gets out her pregnancy test she bought the other day, she reads the box
Jo: results should show up in 1 hour
An hour later
Jo: If there is a blue plus sign you’re pregnant, but if you see a black negative sign your not
She picks up the test and see's a blue plus sign
Jo: Great I'm slowly losing my family and now I'm pregnant, just what I need.
Jo goes to sleep

I don't recall typing "her real mother' I do remember having her say I wish I could have my old mom back but if I did write the first thing I didn't mean to some of this stuff I am writting is completely different then what I wrote down on paper so just bear with me but what I meant by that statement is that Jamie feels that every since Jo has taking this new job that she feels JO has changed and she would like it if her mom would go back to the person she was before she took on the job. And Jamie is her real daughter. I hope that clears things up for you. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask. Also I plan on posting more tonight.

Back in Peekskill, Edna can't sleep so she gets up and makes a cup of hot cocoa, sits at the table and thinks
Edna: Now how do I start going about telling the girls about my cancer, I didn't even tell them when I had it the first time just Raymond, Doris and Beverly Ann
Bev comes in the kitchen
Bed: Oh Edna I didn't know you were awake
Edna: Yeah I can't sleep
Bev: Me either, hey is there more cocoa
Edna: Yes it's in the cupboard
Bev makes herself a cup and sits by Edna
Edna: I just don't know how to go about telling the girls
Bev: You have to there's no going around this, they have to know it's not like there first time, the doctors can't fix your cancer so the girls deserve to know the truth
Edna: I know, it's just hurts knowing how hurt it's going to make them. I mean it was bad enough telling you and Raymond but I'm like Gondi to t hose girls how I tell them this
Bev: Those girls love you and your not god you’re human, they will understand granted it will be hard on them but they will understand
Edna wipes her eyes and hugs Bev
Edna: Oh thank you Beverly I feel a little bit better now

Edna finishes her cocoa
Edna: Well I'm getting pretty tired so I'm going to go back to bed and see if I can fall asleep

Next morning Jo wakes up and gets off the couch and here’s Rick and Jamie talking
Rick: Jamie you know your mom is very worried about you lately
Jamie: Oh she is, then why isn't she home more to do something about it
Rick: Her job is important to her granted I would love it if she could be home more too but it helps pay the bills that's why she took the job in the first place so she could give you the kind of life you deserve
Jamie: But I like the way things were before I hate them now I mean all she does is yells at me whenever she is around
Rick: Then stop acting up
Jamie: Well how else do I get her attention?
Rick: You don't act like that around me
Jamie: Well you make time for me
Rick: I remember you and Jo used to be so close you guys were inseparable
Jamie: Yeah that was until she got this job and never stays home
Jo walks in
Jo: Good morning
Rick: Oh there are a couple pieces of bacon left on the stove
Jo: Thanks
Jo: So how is Jamie this morning?
Jamie: I've got to go or I'll be late
Jo: Don't forget you’re to come straight home from school
Jamie: Whatever
Rick: Hey that's no way to talk to your mother, now what do you say
Jamie: Sorry (she mumbles that)
Jo goes to hug Jamie but Jamie just stands there while Jo hugs her
Jamie leaves for school
Rick: You know that girl misses you being home
Jo: Rick let's not get into this again
Rick: You know you could take a desk job and work on criminal reports and you would still have time to be home in the evenings with us
JO: But I love being a street cop
Rick: Yeah but it scares me sometimes I mean what if you got shot
Jo: I won't
Rick: Hey it could happen and it bothers me
Jo: You never said that when I took on this job
Rick: Well I guess at the time I didn't consider that
JO: Well I really like my job and I'm good at it so leave it alone
Rick: Well I've got to go and take the Van in for its tune up somebody has to keep things running around here
Jo: Bye Ric.. (Notices Rick is already outside getting in the van)
Jo finishes getting ready for work and the phone rings
Jo answers it
Jo: Hello this is Jo Bonner speaking
Blair: Jo hey it's Blair
Jo: Oh Blair hi
Blair: How are you doing?
Jo: I'm good, hey I can't talk to long getting ready for work so what is it that you want
Blair: Well I am just calling because Mrs. Garrett wanted to know if you, Rick and Jamie were free to come up this weekend
JO: I don't know were in the middle of a case
Blair: But it's very important that you come, Mrs. Garrett has something very important she needs to talk to us about
Jo: Well I don't know if I can get away I could send Rick and Jamie
Blair: Jo you did that last year when we had the reunion
Jo: But I came for Nat's wedding
Blair: Yeah for like a day, and plus Mrs. Garrett said she won't take no for an answer she really wants you to come
Jo: Well I'll see what I can do I don't promise I will make it but I will try
Blair: Oh goodie I really hope you can make it
Jo: So how’s the pregnancy going, is Tad getting sick of you yet
Blair: It's going well thanks and actually Tad loves this whole pregnancy thing
Jo: Really I would have thought he would be running for the hills by now
Blair: Well actually I am kind of getting sick of him he won't let me do anything not even walk up the stairs by myself
Jo: But I thought you Warner's liked having everything done for you
Blair: It's nice but I mean I can walk by myself
Jo: Hey I've got to go
Blair: Remember you will try to see if you can make it right
Jo: Right

Jo hangs up and heads off to work

They go to the New York Times office were Nat & Harper are sitting in the break room
Nat: Oh I talked to Beverly Ann on the phone the yesterday
Harp: Oh you did and what did she want
Nat: She called cause she wants us, Dorothy, Blair and Jo & there families to come down for the weekend she has something important to talk to us about
Harp: Don't we have to go to Colorado and work on our story for the paper
Nat: Nope I got them to get Johnson and Cindy to do it, there going to go do it so were free for the weekend plus Tad and Rick will probably be there
Harp: Great those guys are pretty cool
Nat: Yeah I just hope Jo can come and not just send Rick and Jamie
Harp: She was at our wedding
Nat: Yeah but she left early the next morning
Harp: Well sorry to change the subject but I'm very excited about the game tonight
Nat: Me to, it should be a good one
Harp: Yeah the Yankees against the Braves that's always a good match up
Nat: Well break is almost over we better get back to work
Harp: Alright if you say so

Now they go back to California were Jo just got done with there big case. Her & her partner Mattie are driving ask from the crime scene and drive by this abandoned road that says no trespassing and they see a car setting aside the road
Mattie: Should we check this out
Jo: Yeah let's go
They drive down the road and see a bunch of kids drinking. Jo and Mattie get out of the car and the kids try to hide the beer
Jo: Hey this is the LAPD, what's going on here? (Walks up to the kids)
Boy: Just hanging out
Mattie picks up a beer can they forgot to hide
Mattie: This is hanging out (Waves the beer can around)
Jo: You kids are under age
Jo see's Jamie out of the corner of her eye
Jo: Jamie Rose Bonner what are you doing here
Jamie: Just hanging out
Jo: Jamie you’re supposed to be at home your grounded, now go get in the car
Jamie: But Mom
Jo: GO NOW
Jamie: Yes Mam
Jamie storms off to the car
Jo: Ok now listen up you kids get back in the car and Billy we will deal with you buying the beer for the under aged kids and Mattie here will escort you all home. Also I don't want to see any of you here ever again this is private property
Jo gets back in the cop car and drives back to the station. Her and Jamie get in Jo's other car and they head for home
Jo: Jamie how could you go drinking you know better then that
Jamie doesn't say anything
Jo: I asked you a question
Jamie still silent
Jo: Ok your giving me the silent treatment, we will discuss this when we get home

Now they go back to Peekskill and are at the Peekskill playhouse
Dorothy is talking to Robert
Dorothy: Robert I was wondering if you could come over tonight I am going to make spaghetti
Robert: Well if you’re making spaghetti I will be there
Dorothy: Good cause I was thinking of telling Tisha about us tonight
Robert: Really you want to
Dorothy: Yeah then we won't have to keep it a secret anymore
Robert: That would be nice not to have to keep it a secret anymore
Dorothy: I was thinking about 7 o'clock does that work for you
Robert: 7 is fine can't wait
They kiss

Now they head over to the hospital and are in the doctor’s office where Blair is sitting in the waiting room & Tad walks in
Tad: Am I late
Blair: Nope just on time
Tad: Good I was worried I would be late. I can't wait to find out the gender of our baby
Blair: Me to, I'm very excited
Nurse: Mrs. Warner the doctor will see you now
Blair and Tad go into the examing room
Doc: Hello Mr. and Mrs. Warner
Blair: Hi Doctor Miller
Doc: How are you doing today?
Blair: Good
Doc: Great you can take a set on the table
Blair gets on the table and pulls up her shirt and the doctor quirts a little blue gel on her stomach and runs the ultrasound transducer probe back I forth across her belly. They look at the ultrasound
Doc: Well everything looks pretty good. The heartbeat sounds great
Blair and Tad look at each other and smile
Tad: I can't believe that's our baby’s heartbeat
Blair: Yeah that great
Doc: Actually its two heartbeats
Tad: What two, are you sure you’re hearing that right?
Doc: Yep it's two alright you’re having twins
Tad: No way
Doc: See there is one extra leg right there
Doctor Miller points at the monitor and shows them the third leg
Blair: Tad were having twins
Tad: Wow I can't believe it, two kids
Blair: I know
Blair: Um Doctor Miller
Doc: Yes
Blair: I know we have said we wanted the sex of the baby, well now babies to be a secret but we decided we can't wait we would like to know what were having
Doc: Are you sure
Blair: Yes
Doctor: Ok, well clearly the front one if you look here (points on the monitor) it's a boy
Tad: YES a boy
Blair smiles
Doc: And the one behind is a little harder to see but I am pretty sure it’s a girl
Blair: Great I really wanted a girl
Tad: Well now we got what we both wanted
Doc: I'm going to go and you guys can leave whenever you’re ready
Blair: Oh Tad can you believe it were having twins
Tad: Twins as in two kids that's one more then one
Blair: Yeah twins usually means more then 1
Tad: But that's one more to take care of
Blair: Yeah but that's 2 more kids to say I love you daddy and give you hugs and kisses. Just picture little Tad jr. following you around everywhere because he wants to be just like his daddy.
Tad: And what about little Blair Jr. is she going to be as spoiled as her mother
Blair: If I have anything to do with it yes
Tad: Great...
Blair: Oh Tad I know it seems overwhelming but will make the best of it and I'm happy, I love that were having one of each gender. I know how much you wanted a boy and I really wanted a girl now we got both isn't that great
Tad: Yeah I guess so, you just have to give me time to let this twin thing sink in but I love you Blair and I will love these kids even though I am worried that we have to raise two at once
Blair: I know but many other parents have made it through raising twins
Tad: Yeah I know like I said just give me time
Blair: Ok
Tad: I love you Blair
Blair: I love you to Tad
They kiss and Tad touches her belly
Tad: I love you too in there and I mean you two
Blair: Aw that's sweet
Tad: And if you’re smart you will turn out to be like me your daddy
Blair: Hey there going to be somewhat like me
Tad: Well they can look like you
Blair: If they know what’s good for them they will look like me
They kiss again and leave to go home

There you go I will post more tomorrow. Maybe after tomorrows post I will be half way through my story it just depends on how much more I write since I am still trying to finish writing the story.
