Default Should've been more episodes like "Nell Goes To Jail"

Maybe if there were more hilarious episodes like "Nell Goes To Jail" GMB might be a little more bettered remembered and might be in syndication today. Nell was great when they let her rip loose like that.

I just finished watching the Canadian Season 2 set and I must say I think S1 is a little bit better.

I don't know if there will be a US released S2 or not, but the Canadian set doesn't have any captioning or subtitles.

There are some funny episodes in Season 2. The one where Nell goes to court when she is bitten by the dog is hysterical. I love when she screams "AAAY! DOG!!" I didn't remember a lot of the ones from Season 2 though. I'm eager to see Season 3 now. I think Season 1 was slightly better though. Season 2 wasn't consistant because the storylines were scattered across all characters. I know there are people out there who didn't think GAB! was the same without Dolf but the storylines and laughs were really strong when they focused on Nell. I'm looking forward to seeing some episodes later in the series like when Nell and Addy get stuck in separate elevators and they talk to each other over the phone and when Nell tries to use child psychology on the little girl that Samantha brings home.

"Nell Goes To Jail" is one of my favorites. The scene with Nell in the jail cell is hysterical.

Most shows were like "nell goes to jail'. Each GAB season has it's own qualities that I like! I am looking forward to S3 and S4.

I am too. I don't remember seeing the episode where Julie meets Andy Gibb. Also looking forward to the one with Ray Parker Jr. where Nell has a strange encounter. Is this the closest they ever came to a Halloween episode?

I think it's from Season 4 which is why I am eager to get Season 3 so we can push on with the rest of the series. It seems like they are taking a bit longer to release GAB! and Kate & Allie since the last releases. And these shows have sold very well according to amazon.ca.

Hi Chad! You've got great taste. GAB! is a lot of fun to watch.

Right now, it seems unlikely that Universal will release Season 2 of GAB! in the U.S. But, you can still order it through amazon.ca (Canada's amazon.com). A company called VEI has released Seasons 1 and 2 in Canada. They are compatible with U.S. dvd sytems so there is no problem with playing them here. It's a great set. It also contains a bonus episode from Season 3 (Joey: part one). Hope you get it and enjoy it!

Yeah, that episode is probably my favorite episode of the whole series. I was glad they had it on the season 1 DVD as an extra GAB must be in syndication, even if it's not shown hardly anywhere, because it airs weekdays in Chicago at 4:30pm on WWME-23 (ME-TV). Incidently, WWME just showed "Nell Goes to Jail" yesterday (4-30-07)

It seemed like a Season 3 preview episode. But Season 3 hasn't been announced on dvd by VEI yet. They sent me an e-mail saying that they were aiming to release it by the end of 2007. Season 2 sold very well. So I hope they decide to push the release up.

I too hope that VEI pushes up the release date for GAB Season 3! It would be great if we could get a summer release date for it! Hopefully, we won't have to wait too much longer! You would think that because Season 2 sold so well on amazon.ca, that VEI would want to release Season 3 of GAB ASAP! Either way, I'm sure that it will be well worth the wait.

Hi *CHAD*! Welcome to the GAB Forum! If I had to take a guess as to why they chose "Joey-Part One" as their Season 3 bonus episode, it would be that they were merely introducing Joey's character and giving us a little "tease" (if you will) for the next set, perhaps as an indication that VEI will continue to release the remaining sets of GAB! Personally, my choice for the Season 3 bonus episode was "The Groupie", but apparently, VEI had a slight difference of opinion; but I think that I understand why they chose "Joey-Part One" instead. Oh, well, either way, I can't wait for Season 3 to be released!

And as much as I am looking forward to all of the remaining season sets of GAB!, I am not looking forward to watching Dolph Sweet's health quickly deteriorate throughout Season 4 (that's still a bit hard to watch to this day).
