Default Anybody still writing "06" on stuff?

Last night. Two out of three checks I was writing for bills.

Its impossible to correct too.

It's not like it was last year when you can easily change a 5 into a 6.

There is no way you can make a 6 look like a 7.

It's gonna be a long year...

I've done it sometimes in school, when I write the date - I put the previous year instead of the New Year.

I guess it just takes time to get used to being in a new year.

I typed it wrong today for some reason...I go back to work tomorrow, and I imagine doing that for a good solid month at least!

I'll probably do that when I go back to school.

I was filling out a form today and almost put '06 instead of '07, but I caught myself just as I was putting pen to paper!

I've had to write out two checks so far and I had no problems with remembering to write "07" 1-1-07 and 1-2-07, no problems.

I still get caught off-guard when I'm blogging and see the date at the top of my entries- 01 January 2007 and then 02 January 2007. Too weird.

I have put "06" on something already, but I can't remember what it was. I don't think it was anything important (like a check), because I just crossed out the "06" and put in the "07". I'd probably have to void a check if I did that.

haha actually I've been doing pretty good with that...but it is only Jan 2nd. Actually what I've been doing is writing 12 instead of 1 in the date.

I just do what my Grandmother told me to do years ago and go thru a book of checks and fill out the "07" part in advance...just takes a few minutes but banks, etc expect people to mess up at least for a month or so!

Wow, that's a pretty neat idea! I think I'll skip on this part this year, but I'll try to do that when 2008 rolls around.

I haven't goofed up yet, but I'm sure I will. I wrote out about six checks today, and dated them correctly.
