Default LRW: Daily Episode Post

Now that Unsolved Mysteries has returned, I will resume the Daily Episode Post. Again, I will focus only on the episodes that originally aired on network prime time (NBC, CBS). Today's episode was an original Lifetime episode. These episodes generally contain one new segment (which aired in 2001-2002) plus older segments that aired on NBC and CBS.

Thus, todays's episode

Featured stories: "Kentucky Bomber,"- a sheriff is led on a chase by a suspected bomber who eventually disappears leaving everyone to wonder where he is hiding; update on a news producer who reconciles with his mother after initially refusing to see her since she abandoned him as a child; friends and business associates are shocked when an investment counselor disappears on his yacht...only to find out later that he had pocketed $6 million of their investment money; a profile on Edgar Cayce, a turn-of-the-century psychic who possessed amazing talents.

When older episodes begin to air, look for the early Sat/Sun am episodes, this thread will be updated. Meanwhile descriptions for these Lifetime original episodes go here:

OK, I watched the episode thrs night that had the Patty Hearst gang...which they were looking for Jim Kilgore. At the end there seemed to be a new update added on by UM. A woman naratted it. What interesting is that he was captured in 2003, stood trial got 6 years. In order for that to have happened...you fiigure a couple years went by before he got to trial. It seems to me this update if from around 2005. Have they started updating some of these cases on there own?

Well Lifetime never disappoints....Resurrection Mary was supposed to air at 10 pm last night.

However I recorded the 3 & 4 am showings and I was glad to see they are showing the old ones then. The first one was the Alcatraz Special and the second one was Kathy Powers, did a Frenchman cross the Atlantic before Lindbergh and the deaf lady looking for her father. The 4th story escapes me. On the weekends within a 7 hour span UM is shown 3 times.

Default Saturday 3AM Episode

This past week, the 10 pm episodes all originally aired on Lifetime from 2001-2002.

Today's 3am episode aired on February 8, 1989 on NBC.

Cases include:

Special Report: The saga of Clarence Anglin, John Anglin, and Frank Morris, three inmates who planned and executed a daring water escape from the prison in 1962. Did they survive? For the purpose of the broadcast, UM contracted a team of professional rafters, and a tri-athlete to attempt the dangerous swim to shore.

Also included are profiles of famous Alcatraz "residents" Al Capone, and Robert Stroud aka "The Birdman of Alcatraz".

Wow! I'm jealous! Lifetime: RW has been airing some really good segments! And here I thought it was going to be all about Resurrection Mary, the elementary school miracle, and the chair of death....
