Okay, even I will admit the Star Wars Holiday Special is a bit hard to swallow.

But it is fascinating to watch.

If you watch the whole thing beginning to end it is quite painful. Carrie Fischer was completely stoned out of her mind when whe sung her solo, she did not even remember doing it until after she saw the final cut.

Is there any wonder why Lucas has never released it on video or dvd? Not his proudest moment. The best is the 5 minute opening where there is only Wookie spoken and no subtitles.

LOL I actually have the entire show on tape. The one good thing that came out of this special was Boba Fett. The cartoon that is shown on this show was the first time Boba Fett was introduced into the Star Wars world. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Umm......It's been awhile, but I think I got a copy off ebay a WHILE back. I've had it for years and watch it all the time, it's funny.

I also have a tape of people who made their own shows using StarWars characters. My favorite is the COPS episode following the Stormtroopers around Tatooine. LOL it is so funny. Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru are in it as well as the Jawas.
