Question What are you planning on watching this New Years Day??

I think the obvious thing for most people will be all the College football that's airing today. That's definitely what I'll be mostly watching, but since there's so much great stuff that airs on New Years Day, I'll likely be channel surfing throughout most of the day. Right now I'm watching a replay of the UFC's Ultimate Fight Night on Spike tv. Spike will be airing a bunch of UFC stuff today, so I'm sure my channel will be tuned there for a good majority of the day. I'll also be switching over to the Sci Fi channel every half hour to check out what Twilight Zone episodes are airing, as they are having a marathon all day today. Love that show!! One of my all time favorites!! As far as all the College football goes, the game I'm most excited about is obviously USC vs Michigan at 2:00 pm. I'll definitely be watching all of that one, and have my money on UFC to win. I think the odds makers have their money on Michigan, but I think USC is gonna surprise everyone, and win by 3 points, in what should be a classic game!!

So what are some of the shows you all plan on watching today??

My husband will have the tv tied up with football most of the day, but I do plan on watching some of the tape that you sent me Brad.

The M*A*S*H Marathon on Hallmark Channel is pretty good. The episodes are uncut, always a bonus, and Wayne Rogers is hosting.

A perfect excuse to goof off.

Why am I not surprised by that?? Hmm, I wonder.

That'll be what my mom's boyfriend will be watching all day today as well I'm sure. He's seen every episode atleast 50 times, but he still can't get enough of it. I'm sure I'll be hearing the Mash theme in my dreams tonight.

That reminds me, I'll probably be watching some of my Roseanne season 4 DVD's today as well. I bought it a few days ago, but since things have been so busy over the last couple weeks, I haven't even gotten through the first of four DVD's yet. It'll be fun getting into more of it today though.

Yeah, it's been like that with me too. I finished my final season of MacGyver, which I brought forever ago. Okay, not THAT long ago. But it took me a while to get around to it, heh.

I'm STILL working on the third episode in my first season set of Miami Vice, and I brought the first/second seasons of MV a really long time ago (April 06 for the second season, and May 06 for the first season). I've just been so busy, I haven't had time to sit down through a full episode of MV without getting up to do something else.

Yeah, I definitely know what you mean. With me, it's been my medication, which has been helping me get out more than ever. Seems like now that I'm properly medicated, all I'm ever doing is going out, and doing things these days. A couple weeks ago I even triple booked myself with three different people, for the exact same time. I think this New Year is pretty much guaranteed to be a fun one for me!!

I can imagine it must be tough for you with school as well. I know that obviously must take alot of your free time. Anyway, I hope things slow down a bit for you soon, and you get to just sit back and enjoy things finally. We all need a break sometimes, and it sounds like one is long overdue for you!!!

Woo hoo! Yup...I'm nearly on my 5th hour of his marathon (of course).
