What is the funniest thing you've ever done? In 8th grade, there was this kid we used to make fun of, simply because he was annoying as hell. My friend took his jacket, tossed it to me, and I threw it out the 4th floor window.
Here is where the funny part comes. When he goes downstairs, the security guard won't let him outside. So, he has to get a pass from the teacher, after she bugs out on me. Funny part number 3. My teacher calls my mom. When she tells her what happened, my mom starts laughing hysterically saying "He did what"? Ahhh, I miss my childhood.

Awww..this is a great thread! I guess I've not too much super funny, but for a couple of years that I worked at the zoo, my friend Sarah and I used to pull little pranks or such that made us laugh.
I remember, this one time, we were setting up the store that closed at winter. We were being kept warm by propane tanks, and I guess we breathed in too may of the fumes... After a few hours of working, we decided to get lunch. We went to the cafe and ordered chicken nuggets (but they were called "kid nuggets"), and we asked which part of the kid they were from. Then, we went over to the administration offices to get a soda, and Pat the receptionist told us we smelled like gas. We laughed hysterically at this one 'cause of course she was referring to the propane. When we returned to the store, we found a dead mouse, so we asked our manager to come over. She sucked it up through a dry vac, but in the process, she was leaning over the counter, her glasses falling off, her hair flying...it was funny. We found a whole bag of broken snow globes, and they were filled w/anti-freeze, so they stank horribly. So, at the end of the night, we wrapped them up and brought them up to our assistant manager. We told her we had a present for her, but she refused to open it 'cause she thought it was another dead mouse. I guess it's not really that funny, though...but it was the best single day of work ever for me! |

I wasn't praised for it. My mom couldn't believe it. The security guard couldn't believe it either, he didn't even let the kid outside without a pass. |

Have I got some stories for you, so sit around the campfire, eat some smores and marshmallows
First off, the one everyone knows on May 14,1999, my nanny at the time and I wnet to Dillard's, I dont have nannies anymore too old for that, well she was buying some shoes cause she was going out that night, and I saw these red female shoes on the couch, and cuse Imcrazy I tried them on, started wlaking around in them, my babysitter told me to put my tennis shoes bac on, and then as we were walking out she asked me if I knew I was waering that other lady's shoes/ IT WAS A CUSTOMER;S SHOES!!!!! I THOUGHT THEY WERE DILLARD'S SHOES!!!! LOL ok one time I got chips in one of those Ziploc containers ( I take my own lunch ) and I cracked them up into little pieces. Then I told someone "Ya know? This would make a FORTUNE on ebay" LOL then I started this whole thing about selling them on Ebay that itd be fun. Then one day before I left I made this little advertisement like I was talknig about how everyone should sell cracked chips on ebay. Then my sign off was "Ebay goers WISH ME LUCK!" I never did it LOL Oh and one time I got a bag of Fritos and a girl form the yearbook came in the lunchroom with a camera and I went "Take a pic of me!" and held up the Fritos bag and smiled and pointed to it. Then after that i said "Ya know? Some of the best high school pics are taken when a freshman is holding up a Fritos bag" then in Journalism later, which is the same room as yearbook. I asked the photographer if that Frito pic was gonna be in there he said it was im like "YESSSSS!!!!" It didnt end up in the yearbook Oh well. THere went my chance to be famous for selling cracked chips on ebay and holding a Fritos bag Oh and another thing about the cracked chips on Ebay thing I said it was gonna be the newest fad of 2004 Another time in 5th grade I had loose pants on and didnt know it. So we were going to science class ( this was still when the same class went to the differnet classes together), and I was carrying these heavy books. Then as we're walking one of thme starts laughing, I thought they were laughing at something someone said, I look down, MY PANTS ARE GRADUALLY FALLING DOWN TO MY TENNIS SHOES. THEN when we got there everyone is , and Dr. Nease, the science teacher ( who still works there and I have no clue why ) said "Whats going on?" and a black girl, she got in trouble a lot, I might add, not for this though said "JACK'S PANTS BE DOWN"and I pulled them up.One time, forget what time it was mighta been Spring 2004...it was, it was either going to or coming back from Flrodia in the car, I was taking a nap and apparently farted, my parents told me after I woke up but yeah When I was a freshman,I guess this teacher thought I looked like some girl he knew and asked me if I cut my hair "young lady"and I said I was a boy yeah,in the hallway too. This was Spring Break 2002 in Florida. I was at our hosue about to watch a movie, and my parents were at restraunt, I called them couldnt reach them, cause the movie wouldnt start, it eventually did,and I didnt have to call my parents again after this happened. I called the restraunt, and my parents didnt have a reservation.I told the manager this and after I waited for them to find out he goes "Mam? M'am? M;am?" I said,:"Im a boy"and he said sorry, then the movie started and all was well. IN summer 2003,me and my friend Ben and my mom were at a restraunt , Cafe Brazil, and there were these two guys,no shirts, they had tans, one had a hat and they were holding car wash signs and no one stopped for them. LOL One time in either 1999 or 2000, may have been 98, my babysitter and I were coming home form the mall, well were about to but we couldn't find the car. We did eventually. I have more, but that's all I can think of |

Those are some pretty funny stories Cactus Jack
. I have a few more, none of which are at the expense of others:In December of 1996, I spent Christmas in New York. I was taking the Subway to Queens to visit some relatives. On the trains, the metal bars aren't made for tall people. I was already 6'5" at that point, but I was wearing hiking boots, so I was more like 6'7". I went to go sit down, but I ended up banging my forehead on the bar. I had a nice bump for quite some time. In January 1997, I was a freshman in high school. I made varsity basketball, and did quite well. During practice one day, I was open, the point guard threw me a pass, I threw down the sickest two handed dunk, and shattered the backboard. I still have the rim from that hoop.

One of my funniest stories took place on the bus this year, on the way back from school. There was this one girl on the bus, Jenna, who I used to like. She's one of those really quiet girls, who doesn't say much to people she doesn't know, and she sits on the bus not talking to anyone. This year, me and her hate eachother. Ever since she found out last year that I liked her, she stopped talking to me. Sometimes, she can be really rude and that day was one of them. She and this guy sitting across from her were throwing papers at eachother. At my bus stop, I got up and walked down the aisle and her hand hit me as I walked by. I turned to her and gave her a nasty look and she screamed "EWWWWW HE TOUCHED ME. GROSS!!! EWW!!! NASTY!!!" and for attention, she let out some screams. so I started yelling for dramatic effect, but I was really pissed and angry. I yelled "WTF IS YOUR PROBLEM?? YOU HIT ME, I DIDNT HIT YOU. YOU'RE ACTING LIKE YOU ARE DYING FROM A SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE. WELL YOU'RE NOT. GROW THE **** UP AND GET OVER IT. ACT YOUR AGE, YOU'RE 13, NOT 5!! BITCH!!!!!!!" It was only funny if you were there, but it was the way I said it that was funny, not what I said. Amazingly I didn't get written up or get detention. But also, she always gives me dirty looks and rolls her eyes at me, and acts rude. So finally, I put her in her place. |

This is kind of embarrassing, but once in junior high I grabbed two shoes from under the bed one morning when I was getting ready for school. I must've been half asleep because, while I get two shoes, one left and one right, they were from two different pairs--one was a tie shoe and the other a loafer! Funny thing is I didn't notice it until math, like third period. I don't think anyone else noticed either, at least no one said anything, until I mentioned it to one of my friends, who had to open his big mouth and pointed it out to everyone. I should've kept quiet. At least both shoes were the same color! (Nowadays, it might not be a big deal--for example, we have school spirit week where I teach--and one of the days is "mismatch day" I would have fit right in!)
The other is not really an embarrassing event, but something I would do. Let me explain: My friends and I would play basketball in the driveway for hours on end. I had this habit of, whenever I'd shoot, I'd stick out my tongue. My friends would laugh at that. I thought it was weird, too--but intended unconsciously to put some english on the ball and influence it to go in the basket, much like a bowler leans over, supposedly guiding the bowling ball to the right spot. I continued to think my habit was weird, that is, until Michael Jordan came along, who of course stuck out his tongue whenever he shot. I felt, in retrospect, that I was in good company, and never again felt embarrassed about it. |

Sometimes I hear things completely wrong. When I was a senior in high school I received a letter in the mail from a company (I don't remember the name) offering to hire me after graduation. I think it was a form letter they sent to everyone graduating. The weird thing is that the letter didn't state exactly what jobs they were offering. It had phrases like "exciting opportunity!" and "high pay!" It sounded like a scam, but I decided to call anyway.
I called the company and talked to a receptionist who recited the same stuff that was in the letter for a few minutes. When she finished I asked her what I would be doing if I was hired and she said, "You'll be selling sporting equipment." Okay - I'm not lying - I thought she said, "You'll be selling Afros." Without even thinking I said, "I'll be selling Afros?" in a goofy, surprised voice. The receptionist cracked up laughing and told me what she had said. Then I started laughing. I never heard from that company again.

I hate fightin'' but I've kicked more than a few a**'s of the guys who thought they were tough until someone actually stood up to them. I can't believe you actually admitted to being a bully, everyone knows what they're really like. Visit any bullying website and all you'll see loads of info about how insecure, unloved, scared, etc... bullies really are.Man, I knew you had issues. Every time you argue with me you make a homophobic comment (I assume you think I'm gay, maybe I am, maybe I'm not, either way I couldn't care less what you thought ), but now it seems that it goes a whole lot deeper.I honestly never thought I'd say this, but I actually feel real sorry for you, that must have been some life for you to harbor so much hatred. |
