That episode is 'A War for All Seasons' 12/29/80. Come to think of it, I should watch that today.
Happy New Year! |

one of the worst episodes, since it just ignores Henry, Trapper and Frank and acts like they never even existed. At least they could have mentioned them and maybe shown clips of them!

Thanks for your replies, that night one of my sisters stayed home and we had a mini-MASH marathon! I thought I would be fitting to watch it, but I ended up not having that season on DVD...But, it was a great one w/out it!

I don't think its a particularly strong episode myself.
I don't know how to explain it but I don't really like when shows that are placed in a different time element clumsily call out things that are happening at that time unless its an established part of the show (like Happy Days or something like that). In this episode BJ makes some reference to Hank Aaron and it just IMO comes stumbling out as a plot contrivance. Not to mention the fact that Klinger and Potter are having such a heated debate about baseball in this episode yet in other episodes (aside from Klinger wearing the Mudhens jersey) they seem to care less about the sport. For some reason, I don't feel the same about the episode where Marilyn Monroe is coming through. Just my observations..D |
