What are your fondest memories from your childhood?
For me, I met MC Hammer when I was 8 years old. He was my biggest role model next to Michael Jordan. When I met him, I told him I could rap. So he asked me to rap a song. I started rapping "You Can't Touch This", and he just starting cracking up . A great guy, who got out rapped by an 8 year old .

Pointing and laughing at that dumb girl in my grade who married some 45 year old male skank. Oh wait, that's not a childhood memory, because I was 20 when that happened. My bad.
Hmmmmmmmmm, favorite childhood memory... Anything from 1992 and earlier. |

Oh wow, lots of them....I have nice memories of growing up in the eighties and nineties.
My cousin and her family used to live in the same house as I did (we had a huge split level house...this was from the town I used to live in as a kid, not the one I'm in now), and it was fun to have another girl around to hang with (I had three brothers). In the summer, my Uncle would take us to a local park and we'd play hide 'n seek all day long (it was a huge park that had all sorts of wooden mazes and castles to play in. It also had slides and swings as well). Afterwards, we'd all get ice cream from the Mr. Softee that parked in the lot. My cousin Jeanine and I used to have fun pretending we were twins too (we did look exactly alike as kids). I remember some elderly people used to make comments to us whenever we were out together (like, "Aww, you're twins?! How cute!") and we'd totally play it up We also had a huge above ground pool in the backyard and we'd swim for what seemed like hours. Sometimes my parents, grandma (she also lived at the house), and my cousin's family would have a BBQ too. I remember one night (one of the rarer occasions), the whole family went out bowling and to see Jurassic Park (which had just opened that weekend). That was one of the first real 'blockbuster' type movies I saw in the theatre, so I'll always remember it. Then her family moved Upstate, so I didn't really see her as frequently as I used to It was great having my brothers, though, so I didn't mind.

I love the avatar. My favorite song too. "You Can't Touch This", "Pray", "Too Legit To Quit", and "I Got It From The Town" are his best songs. |
