Default Three's Company

I would just like to say as a new member its great to see how many loyal fans there are towards three's company.. I consider myself to be very knowlegable of the show. I first saw three's Company when I was 6. I was born in 75 so the only things I truly understood was the goofiness of jack tripper and the "stupidity" of chrissy snow.. As I got older I began to understand all the innuendos that made ithe show what it is today... its amazing to see how special the show was and how many people truly embraced the kids into their homes every week.

I have so many favorite episodes but one of the funniest ones was when janet's love interest was barry williams from the brady bunch.. ritter's acting while on tranquilzers was hilairious... unfortunately due to time constrictions tvland tends to cut some parts of the show..

I find the episodes with don knotts alot more funnier than with normal fell but I truly enjoyed every season with the exception of the last which was rushed..

anyway if anyone wants to chat up any episodes i would be more than happy to respond.. thanks, for reading

Welcome aboard! There is a fine bunch of TC fans on this board, though it has quieted down some since TC is no longer being televised and most folks now have all the DVDs.

Well since me and you were born the same year, there is not much I want to ask you-lol I usually like to talk to TC fans who watched the show during it's original run on ABC so if you were born in 1960, I would have asked

1. Did you think Chrissy would return to the show

2. What was your first reaction to TerrI?

3. Were you Upset when Mr. Roper Left?

Actually I work in television I do know alot about the show and behind the scenes.. No, I knew suzanne somers wasnt returning to the show. she was heavily influenced by her husband alan Hamel. He didnt think she should go back to a top 5 show for the amt she was getting.. The problem was, she wasnt the star. John Ritter was and without him there wouldnt be a show.

Priscilla Barnes was a quick choice for terri... Since Jennilee harrison didnt cut the mustard they looked quickly for another blonde replacement.. I thought she was decent , much better than cindy but no chrissy. barnes is from new jersey my neck of the woods

The funny thing is the ropers didnt want to leave.. they were promised if their show didnt do well in the ratings then they would be able to return
full time.. unfortunately, for them don knotts became a huge hit and they left fell and lindlay out of the loop. you didnt hear much about them after the show..

I should have been more clear, I really don't need you to answer those questions because you and I are the same age. I want to know a person's answer from experience not what they read or find out in books or TV.

Well the fact that you were 2 years old when TC aired on ABC and 9 years old when it went off the air, I wouldn't be able to take your answers seriously. It would be better for me to talk to someone who was in Highschool when TC aired on ABC
