Post Molloy

Anybody remember this VERY short-lived show? It aired for exactly 4 weeks in the summer of 1990 on Fox, and it starred a pre-Blossom Mayim Bialik as Malloy, a girl who went to live with her "weekend dad" at his Beverley Hills house. It also featured a pre-Friends Jennifer Aniston as her spoiled step-sister Courtney. Malloy worked on a kids show at the local TV station.

The episodes were about:
1. Malloy's dad forgets her birthday
2. Malloy covers for Courtney all week so she won't get grounded and ruin Malloy's weekend, so Courtney causes trouble on purpose just to make Malloy suffer
3. Malloy convinces all the neighborhood housekeepers to go on strike
4. don't remember anything about this episode...

Jennifer was great as the evil, snobby step-sister. Does anyone else remember this show?

If it doesn't have anything to do with PETE MALLOY (ya know, from Adam-12), then I can't help you!

Actually, it's not even in the Complete Directory of TV Shows.

Okay, never mind, it is here but it's spelled Molloy. She lived with her widowed dad and his new wife Lynn and her 2 kids, Courtney (JA) and Jason (Luke Edwards). Paul (the dad) was a program director for a TV station and Molloy was on one of his TV shows.

I remember the show, I dont remember much about it though. All I remember is it aired on FOX, I think on Thursday, and it came out like a year before Blossom.

Alex: Skippy, remember when we were little kids and I accidently ran over you with my bicycle?
Skippy: Yeah
Alex: I drive a car now.

You're right, it is Molloy. No wonder I couldn't find any info about it! But it was definitely on Wednesday, not Thursday. The Shark is right about it being on a year before Blossom. One thing though, if I'm not mistaken, Paul didn't work at the TV station. He was the PD at an easy-listening radio station. I remember he was on the phone with one of the DJs asking him why he played 30 minutes of some hard-rock band.
